So, I have a project where there are many bitmap sprites which are stamped in order to have some sort of alternative to clones. However, one of them, is pixelated more than it is already. It is bitmap and its size is 150. How can I stop this pixelation?

I think it is because when sprites are stamped, their resolution is lowered or something? Try doing the below steps to see if it works,
  • Alright, save the project as a copy !IMPORTANT STEP

  • Then go to the Hero's costume, press the ‘=’ sign at the bottom.

  • Then click on the transparent area, then press CTRL + A or CMD + A (on mac), you should be seeing this -

  • Then click on the corner, and drag it until it becomes bigger (make sure to centre it otherwise the bottom part my get erased)

  • Keep on doing this until it's around this big

  • And then set the size to around 10 - 15

Now that I did what you told me, the hero is more pixelated.

But I want the problem to be solved in the original, not the copy.

Yeah, you can fix it in the copy, then port it over to the main project, it's good practice to do this, so you don't accidentally break anything else.

I am using an android device and I don't have any keyboard that has either Ctrl or CMD.

In Scratch 3.0, stamping a sprite makes it pixelated. There is no way to change this.

The stamp left by the sprite isn't more pixelated than the original if it is bitmap and has a relatively big size. This happens as intended with all of my sprites, other than the Hero.

A size of 200% should fix this.

It would, but that would reduce the size of the map, which is something I don't want, as it is going to be an exact copy of the original. I will just use clones for this sprite.

But, YAY! I changed its size to 200% and then changed it back to 150% and it is fixed! I thank all the Scratchers who responded to help with my problem! I am going to close this topic.
