I can make cloud regular games (not at the moment because I am a New Scratcher but I did make some on my old account) where there's no scrolling, but I want to make a ship battle game where there's a scrolling map. A player appears at a certain scrollx/scrolly but I can't seem to find the right condition I need for this to be possible. Can you please help me with this script? (i know it will be time-consuming to write the script on the annoying scratch forums block engine but plz god will bless you if you doooooooo)

I used that engine for the cloud game I was talking about… It didn't work, it only worked for mousex and mouse y. I couldn't find out how to encode and decode the input and output of the x position and y position of the sprite moving with the arrow keys. In my game, I want the sprite to move with the arrow keys. Glad you tried, but that didn't work. I tried another clatter of engines but still couldn't figure out how to encode and decode the values. Also, I meant a SCROLLING game, not a simple 1 screen not scrolling game.

Maybe this series will get you started on tile scrolling?
