Scratch Stage lagging and not responding as quick/ ignoring some chunks of script

Hi, i've been using scratch for the past week or so (on firefox) and i've noticed it's a bit slow, it's not responding that quick. Also, just now, it seems to be ignoring an entire chunk of script. it's going very slow. My computer is a very fast computer usually. I'm using a macbook pro with MacOS Catalina.

I think this is just a problem with your code and not scratch. If you need help fixing this I would suggest making a topic in the help with scripts forum.

This has happened to me on multiple projects, where it will stop accepting any input, and if there is a sound that is playing it'll finish playing the sound but all movement freezes and it won't play the sound again if it's on a loop until it stops freezing. this has happened on a pretty beefy gaming pc running windows 10 and a Chromebook. (which are known for being slow)

Ok. Now i see that some people have this issue too. For me it has sped up back to normal.
