Remove the spikes from text in the costume editor

When you make text have a bigger outline in the costume editor, it adds spikes to the text. Examples:

yes, from time to time I do use the the Scratch font.
This is really annoying, and the only way to remove them is the go into the bitmap editor and do it manually.
It would be nice if they were just removed entirely.

These sharp edges are constantly annoying, and prevent good looking text from being achieved. Going into bitmap to remove will make it pixelated, which would sacrifice resolution, which many Scratchers would not want.

Support. When I want to make my text's outlines thicker, for example, about 5 or 10, spikes began protruding from the outlines! They should fix this.
It's really annoying and discouraging.

AND you can't edit the text when you want, which is equally annoying.
Though I dont want Scratch to remove bitmap, because it is easier to animate and less glitchy..

No support, you wouldn't be able to read the text anyways

There's not much Scratch can do about this as it's the fonts themselves that are messed up; zooming on these fonts reveals lots of tiny bumps which which made wider add up to make those spikes. It's why cleaner fonts like Sans Serif and Serif don't have this problem.

Wait what? There is an outlining feature in the first place? I don't get why it exists. It only makes it overcomplicated. In a technical sense, corners of the outlines may get exaggerated when expanded. This is too overcomplicated for vector editing.

Yes, there is an outlining feature. After you do the stuff you need, you select it and enter the outline (0-100). The outline box is near the fill box.
