Our upcoming newsletter is an optional program that shops may subscribe to. Although we don't require shops to subscribe, we haven't received an explicit yes or no from the following shops. Unless specified otherwise, we'll assume these shops (who have responded to the activity check) do not want to subscribe to our monthly newsletter:

All good! The past few weeks have been relatively slow, with all of our changes (from those mega-posts) being mostly complete. At the moment, we're running an activity check, which you can view here. We also have an ongoing banner contest which is accepting submissions until March 31.

It may take a while to have your shop added, but you are still an official member.
By the way, it is not necessary to add extra fields to the form that were not there originally (such as co-owner/secretary) as it has no purpose. We only need the owner's username.

Activity Check Update (Mar. 26, 2021)

I didn't realize until now that the activity check post doesn't explicitly say that responses are due in a week (from when the activity check started), but I'm pretty sure that many of the messages that I sent out to shops did contain that disclaimer. On the same subject, responses will be due by Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 11:59pm EDT. Any shops that do not respond by then will be marked as inactive on Sunday and be flagged for removal (it's up to 78ch3 to actually remove them from the USS.)

Two shops haven't confirmed their subscription to the newsletter. If we don't receive a response from them, they will likely not be automatically subscribed to it. The two shops are Cloud Blue and The Intro Maker Shop. Touch of Brilliance Shop also hasn't responded yet, but that shop's owned by the person who's writing/leading the newsletter, so I figured it's sort of up to MClovers for that one. If you own/represent either of those two shops, feel free to let me know so I can change your response in the activity post.

Okay, I'll be marking it as active/green, even if the owner isn't necessarily active right now.
Oops, it's already been marked as active. The shop just doesn't have yes or no regarding receiving the newsletter.

Roundup (Mar. 26, 2021)

Hey everyone! Here's a roundup of what's going on and stuff.

Our thread has slowed down since we've agreed upon improvements we made to the USS earlier this month. Now is a great time to post about any questions, comments, or suggestions you have!
The activity check has been a success. Thanks to everyone who responded and gave us information about who is in our newsletter subscription!
With this month's activity check extending much later than expected, when should we start the next? Should we go along with a gradual plan to bring the activity check back to the start of the month? My suggestion is to have the next in mid-April (around Apr. 14-21), then the one after that back towards early May (around May 1-7).
Three to five shops have been marked as inactive during this activity check, and may be set for removal soon (dependent on 78ch3's opinion.) This may be our first removal of shops during this leadership, and may bring our shop count from 19 down to 14. 78ch3 also recently said that they plan to impose a 35 shop limit.
Some of our staff hasn't been posting much. I'll be looking into that.
The status of our directory project (led by p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-) is unknown, but I'll be looking into that as well.
MClovers, when do you plan to send out the newsletter? Along with the activity check or on a different date monthly?
How should we decide the banner contest? By staff vote or popular vote (everyone within the USS is able to vote)? I'm leaning towards the latter.
