Now onto the Best Ways to Advertise!

Many people find Advertising a way to get views/loves/favorites, etc.
NOTE: Advertising DOES include F4F (Follow for Follow. Explained Below Advertising Section).

I must admit this IS true. It is a common way of doing so.

But the most common way: "Check out my game! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/….".

This is the WRONG way of advertising! Many people consider it annoying, fame craving, jealousy, etc.

Some Scratchers are reported then banned for doing so. We do not want to constantly deal with this.

My suggestions to ʙᴇsᴛ ᴀᴅvᴇʀᴛɪsᴇ are…

➡️ 1. Spread Kindness (This motivates users to check you out!)
➡️ 2. Help out in Scratch Featured Studios or the SDS, SWC, etc. (This shows respect for Scratch and again motivates users to check you out!)
➡️ 3. Help out in Forums: Answer peoples questions, thoughts, etc! (Helps Scratchers and again encourages them to explore you more!)
➡️ 4. Create Studios and invite others from the Scratch Community to check them out!
➡️ 5. Follow little noticed Scratchers who as well are looking for views!
➡️ 6. Make a Discussion for a game of yours on “Show and Tell” (Click the Link!)
➡️ 7. Create a signature in the forum including links to projects! Edit Signature (Click the link!)

Follows on Request:

F4F, FOR (Follow for Follow, Follow on Request) are both non-proper ways to advertise! Like explained above these are another big issues in advertising. It is still advertising but seeking follows more than views, etc.
It involves you and another Scratcher who trade follows with each other.
This only gains you one follow which may not last and many people again consider it annoying, fame craving, jealousy, etc.
