Support. Definitely a good way to avoid making people lose their work.

A smaller trash can would look like this:I think that looks nice!
Also chill, dertermenter is allowed to give their opinion on what they think looks nice. I don't think that them agreeing to the solution that they had already agreed to in the first place is them “becoming rational”. Joke's on you guys, I actually liked their solution!

On the contrary, I think that this entire subforum* is technically about personal taste. Whichever stance you take will at least partially be based on your personal opinion. I absolutely despise infinite scrolling and that has definitely leaked into my feelings for certain suggestions in the past. Also chill, dertermenter is allowed to give their opinion on what they think looks nice. Although I support because that has happened to me before and I think this suggestion should be implemented someday, for now (because it takes a long time to implement things, usually) you can click edit > restore sprites.
Of course, the flaw with this button is that if you purposely deleted some sprite(s) and accidently deleted other(s), then it would restore every single one-not just the accidental one(s).
I agree that just because there is a work around does mean that this shouldn't take effect, I'm just saying that until it does you can use the above solution.
Of course, having typed up all of this it occured to me that I should check to see if this is a duplicate. Unfortanutely, it is.

Just because someone does not agree with you does not mean they are not being rational. The person may be being rational from a different perspective.HAPPY!Yes, I am, because now you're being rational.

They were only considered their personal taste in a trash icon on a button, not what the button actually does.Just because someone does not agree with you does not mean they are not being rational. A merge seems more likely; they seem to enjoy doing that even if it's mostly unnecessary and just makes things more confusingOf course, having typed up all of this it occured to me that I should check to see if this is a duplicate. Support, while it hasn't particularly happened to me (but that is probably because I haven't been doing much projects or tests recently), I can imagine for many people it is a problem, and they could have issues with the sprite deletion button, and I can imagine how hard it is for work that you have possibly spent days, possibly weeks depending on how many costumes were made being deleted because you misclicked a large button that deleted all the work.

Support. I could easily see someone accidentally deleting a sprite with code they spent hours working on and then the project autosaves so they can't get the previous version back.

OMG YES. I always see things getting deleted when they shouldn't. How about, we give a warning even if you click on the smaller trash can, saying: Are you really sure you want to delete this sprite? That way, no accidental presses and a extra safe guard incase your in the “zone” and can't be bothered to see if you click the trash icon or not.

No support for removing it all-together. Say, you`re in the sprite library getting gobo. But you click the goblin. You hate goblins and they creep you out. You want it out. You have to delete it.
No support for if you accidentally click it because there`s a key you can press to get it back. And you wouldn`t delete two.
bro right click and delete , easy and most people dont know about the restore button (i learnt about it 3 minutes ago)

i'd rather click a hundred “OK” buttons rather than undoing hours/days of workWhat if we implemented this and asked for confirmation for sprite deletion? Combining the two suggestions sounds like a good idea. Please tell me this would be toggleable, because I would not like to have to click an “OK” button every time I delete a sprite.
