Daily 3/1:
Hello! My Scratch nickname is Sandy, and I'm from real-fi! I like making art, animations, coding, and writing crossovers for my fandoms. I love to read a lot of book series, like Warriors, Wings of Fire, 39 Clues, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Hunger Games. I also love Hamilton and I'm also checking out other musicals, like Dear Evan Hansen. I'm also in this awesome Hamilton fancult. This is my first time in SWC. It's a little confusing, especially the wars. But I hope I'll figure it out. I'm really excited to start, and I hope I'll enjoy it and learn more about writing!

Columbine

The stranger came late in the afternoon.

It was a day in late summer, when the willows swayed in the Meadow and the butterflies fluttered about. The air was warm, but carried a hint of chill. The sun was a rich shade of orange and draped everything in a golden glow. Willow was on an errand for us, and Rye was doing his homework. It was just me and Peeta outside, enjoying a moment of peace and quiet.

He approached us carefully, like a hunter getting in range. I made out details- the simple blue coat and dark hat, the jet-black boots, his red hair. As he got closer, it struck me as strange and a bit disquieting how much he resembled Gale. Alert gray eyes and a fiery air around him. I wonder what he's doing here.

“He reminds me of Gale. And Darius,” Peeta said, echoing my thoughts. There was the slightest quaver in his voice, and I remembered how he had seen the latter tortured

We were so absorbed in our memories we didn't notice the stranger until he was right in front of us. “Are you Katniss Everdeen?” he asked, holding out a black box. After all these years, I still instinctively reach for a spot at my shoulder, for an arrow that's not there. The stranger flinched, and I gave a quick nod. “I have something to deliver to you,” he said hesitantly, handing the box to me.

Opening it, I found scattered columbine flowers, their pale colors contrasting sharply with the dark box. Pushing them out of the way, I saw a strange device, with buttons and switches. Underneath was a letter from Beetee. Beetee? I haven’t heard from him since the revolution ended. The letter was written in cramped but fairly neat handwriting. Peeta leaned over and peered at it.

Dear Katniss,
Do you remember me? I suppose years of separation might have put me out of your mind, but right now I just need your attention for as long as you read this letter. I have discovered something. You might not have much use for it, but your descendants and the future people of the Capitol might need it
.

Future people of the Capitol? I wondered. Is Beetee thinking that far ahead? That's not very typical of him. I continued reading.

It's a little thing that I came up with when I was tinkering with things.

He then went on to describe all the things he did when he was ‘tinkering’ with the object. I skimmed the following description, which was all made up of scientific terms. Words that I recognized were titanium, rubber, and …termination? That’s strange.

You probably already know that you can use this for traveling through time and distance. But you also need to know that you can’t overwork it. The maximum you can do without getting stuck back in time is about 200 years. Distance traveling is much easier; you can travel as far as you can. But just remember, don’t overuse it!

Alright, I thought to myself, feeling a twinge of annoyance. I won’t overuse it. Like Beetee said, not that I have much use for it anyways. Or do I?

If you overuse it, it’s likely that you’ll be stuck with a broken time traveler. You’ll be stuck where you are. But a side note: if you are stuck for, say, ten years; when you get back you will still be the same age you was when you left. But only if you’re still alive

That’s actually helpful. So I can go back and fix everything…

But I don’t think you should use it to go back, Katniss. It’s going to be too painful, not being able to save them. Even if you did, the future will be drastically changed.

I sighed. No matter how much I hated to admit it, Beetee is right. I could end up killing myself and many others if I go back like that. And ravage the lives of many more.

Also, I must warn you: Do not let this fall into the wrong hands. Make sure that when you give this to your children, give them the warning I have given you.

‘Give them the warning I have given you’ The phrase sent a chill down my spine.

I trust that Mr. Alexander Hamilton had been quite helpful helping me delilver this to you. Good luck.
-Beetee

I finally glimpsed up from the letter. Peeta had already finished and is talking with the deliverer of the letter. Alexander Hamilton. What an…interesting name.

Looking back at the letter, it occurred to me that Beetee wouldn’t usually write so sparingly. I suppose we’ve all changed with time.

The letter was folded up and put next to the columbines.

~Weekly~

(lol I feel like a lot of the stories were a mix of genres, like the Hi-Fi one (since the Cahills did time travel))

Mystery-208 words

Amber quickly opened the suitcase, looking through the papers. She was sure that the agent had hidden the key in here. As she shoved aside documents of lawsuits and college applications, she came upon a small piece of folded paper, cracked and yellow with age, with only three words and a signature.

Don't let her,
V.4

Amber stared in puzzlement at the note. Who's her? And what's V. 4? But then the sound of approaching footsteps wiped every thought from her head. Clutching the note in her hands, Amber lept towards the window just as a heavy-set man in a black coat stumbled into the room. Spotting her, the man let out an inhuman growl. “What are you doing with Ves-” He was cut off as Amber grabbed the nearest thing she can find- a large dictionary- and hurled it at him. It conked the man on the nose, and Amber grinned in satisfaction. Then she lept out of the window and landed on the soft grass outside. Hurrying into the woods, she peered at the note. It seemed awfully insufficient for such an important-looking note, and she extracted a UV-light reader and shined it on the paper, gasping in horror as she read the secret message.

Dystopian-165 words

Glory hurried through the thick line of people waiting for their meager meal. She had important business to do in the marketplace, and that can't be successful if people are blocking her way. Quickly setting up her stall, she spread out her supplies of herbs and bandages and waited for patients. She was one of the only healers left, and a pretty good one at that.

As she sat on her stool, she took in the people around her. She was lucky to have such a reliable source of income for her family and adopted siblings when everyone was poor and starving. As her first patient limped toward her, she caught sight of his burnt leg.
~
Even though District Twelve had turned back to coal mining after the Onyx Rebellion, she was still surprised that the Capitol was being so lax with the districts and their work. Hardly anyone comes in with mine injuries now. Kind of ironic, since the Capitol was still starving them.

Poem-104

Rain beats down against the earth
Gloomy gray clouds cover the sky
Tears of grief, shouts of mirth
Tells a very different story inside

Standing on wooden tiles or bleak gray stone
One might play or stand with a eulogy
In a barn, church, school, or own home
Studying, praying, cleaning, proposing with beautiful golden jewelry

Outside, the storm still raging on,
Not much merry can be seen
But sometimes see on the lawn
Birds singing in a simple melody

Rain beats down against the earth
Gloomy gray clouds cover the sky
Everyone- adults, children, pets, and birds
Wait until the land becomes dry

(The format was the first line and third line in each stanza rhyme, the second and fourth near-rhyme, the first, third, and fourth stanzas have 6 words in each line, and the second stanza has 8 in each line)

Non-Fiction-101 words

Princeton University is a private university located in Princeton, New Jersey. Founded in 1746, it is the fourth-oldest college in the United States. The university is part of the Ivy League-a athletic conference group of 8 universities in New England-and its mascot is a tiger. Many award winners and government officials were alumni or staff of the university; famous people who graduated from the university are John F. Kennedy, James Madison, and Aaron Burr Jr.The university also conducts research on many subjects of natural and engineering sciences. It also has 38 varsity sports teams, along with various clubs and organizations.

Mythology-138 words

The figure ran ahead blindly, carrying a hefty sword. Breathing heavily, he hurried further into the fiendish land. He finally slowed down and stopped running, collapsing as blood poured from multiple wounds on his body. A dark shape slithered towards him; one of the place’s many monsters. “You shouldn’t have come down here to Tartarus, mortal,” it hissed, flexing its claws. The demigod glared defiantly at the monster. “No one had come, not since those two annoying brats,” it continued. Percy and Annabeth? The young boy thought. He had heard tales of the heroes, but they were long gone, and the world had changed. “How old are you, brat? Can’t be more than 13,” the monster muttered. It was true. “Not that it matters,” it concluded, slamming a talon down at the boy and hearing his final screams.

Fantasy-110

Lizard soared into the sky, taking Canary with him. “Hey, slow down, boy!” the girl called out, clutching the reins. It feels strange to her that riding a dragon was so similar to riding a horse. Sure, it was in the air and all that, but the basic feelings weren't much different. From the sky, she could see herds of unicorns rushing past, and griffins flying majestically in the air. She could also see her townfolks' face, with expressions from fear to anger to envy to admiration. Laughing, Canary waved to them and pulled on the reins, making Lizard fly even higher up. The surrounding mountains were a beautiful sight.

Historical Fiction-108

“Should we tell them about the secret crossing?” Dan asked nervously. Amy thought about it. If they did, it might give the Americans a major victory in the battle. The war would be over sooner and fewer people would die. But she also knew that they shouldn't try to change the past; if Lafayette or Washington died it would be disastrous. “No,” she said finally with a heavy heart. She would just let history play out. Her cousins, who were crowded around her, nodded in consent. Amy didn't particularly want to watch the battle though. Not if it means seeing her friend get wounded for the first time.
(casually tries not to ship Lamy/Amyette)

Contemporary-110

Alana reached into her backpack for her history notebook as the sixth-grade history teacher walked in. “Good morning, class!” the teacher called out cheerfully. “I'm Ms.Gomez, and I'll be teaching your history class this year!” Ms. Gomez's eyes traveled across the room, and Alana gave her a shy smile. To her surprise and relief, the teacher smiled back. Maybe what she always believed about other people being unfriendly and distant-that's what her social anxiety seemed like to her, though she can't grasp what it really was.-weren't completely true after all. As Ms. Gomez began introducing herself, Alana thought that it won't be such a bad year after all.

Horror-153

Sylvia woke with a start in the dark bedroom. She reached for her phone and looked at the time. 3:00 in the morning. How was she up this early? Try as she might, she can't fall asleep again. Weird, she thought. Now that she was up, she might as well do something. As she got off her bed, she felt something wet and slimy on the ground. Frowning, she bent over. What could it be? Maybe her brother dropped something in her room. The story didn't make sense, even to her, and she shuddered as she touched the substance. She was afraid of what it could be, and she hurriedly wiped it off. With a trembling hand, she turned the flashlight function on her phone on. The light shone on dark blood running in a trail out to the wide-open door and the dark hallway. Then a hissing sound came from outside.

Adventure-308

“Come on, let’s go!” Claudia yelled. The skinny 7th grader followed their teacher down the tunnel, while everyone else gazed back in hesitation.
“I don’t like this. Not at all,” Rylie muttered, taking a bite out of his sandwich. Lila looked at him in concern. Rylie was the calmest and most sensible person she knew. It would, of course, be natural to listen to him. He had great insight, if not a bit of bluntness to it. But everyone was pressured to go in when Claudia’s loud and abrasive voice sounded. “Come on, people! We don’t have all day!” Rylie sighed. “Come on, sis, everyone’s going down,” Lila finally followed him, and together the class made their way along the dark catacombs. Everything went well for 10 minutes or so, but when one of the chaperones, Mrs. Harkler, tripped and tumbled down a hole full of snakes, chaos erupted. Rylie and Lila was pushed to a side tunnel by a wave of people, and no one save the teachers even stopped to consider poor Mrs. Harkler. Huffing, the two tried to make their way back, but after a few minutes it became apparent that they were lost.
“What do we do now?” Lila asked in worry. Rylie finished his sandwich and looked around. There was a faint rattling sound coming from the left one of the three tunnels ahead of them. Rylie and Lila exchanged a glance before running down there. They didn’t stop until they arrived at a wide underground river. “How weird is this?” Lila asked nervously. But Rylie had a gleam in his eyes. “We just follow it, and then we'll get back up!” he announced. Lila couldn’t quite see the logic behind this-isn’t it possible that the river started and ended underground?-but didn’t argue. Soon they reached a small pool with glittering jewels.

Realistic Fiction-140

“Look!” Hannah called out, pointing at a fluffy kitten in the shelter. “She's so cute!” she squealed. The kitten was very cute, with silky gray and white fur and sparkling blue eyes. “It's a boy,” her mother corrected, but Hannah was too busy looking at the kitten. “You can adopt her,” a worker came over, smiling. “I suppose I should. My daughter loves cats. I just wanted to take over to look at them, but… she's too attached,” Hannah's mother said with a chuckle. The worker laughed lightly as well and opened the cage. “You can pet her, but be gentle!” he told Hannah, handing her the kitten. “His name is Cloudy,” When the worker finished speaking, Hannah took Cloudy in her hands and petted him gently. “Can we adopt him? Please?” she begged her mother, who beamed and nodded.

Thriller-112

“Move it!” Jonah hissed, pushing Delphine along. The mysterious masked man continued forward into the dark alley, and the two scurried towards him. Suddenly, he turned and lept at them. “Run!” Delphine cried, and this time she was the one to push Jonah. But suddenly, two more people appeared behind them. Delphine gazed in terror at them. They were trapped! The man quickly took out a pistol and pointed it towards Jonah. Before she could think about what she was doing, Delphine pushed the man over, and the shot missed. As the pistol fell out of the man's hand, she snatched it, and together she and Jonah ran out of the alley.

Classics-121

Willa wandered around the great halls of the Academy, feeling a sense of wonder as she gazed around. Her parents really weren't lying when they told her about how grand it is. It seemed like the place had changed a lot since they had been there. There were more statues of famous people of the recent years and extended trails into the forest. As she stepped outside, she saw a group of professors conversing pleasantly as they strolled around the grounds. Willa caught sight of other students enjoying the lunch break. Then the bell rang four times, signifying an assembly, and the professors went into the largest hall classes. Admiring the view one last time, Willa then turned and followed them.

Sci-Fi-205

A dark-haired girl slipped the battery into the robot, and with a click and a press of a button, he came to life. The robot slowly took in his surroundings. Many other workers were assembling robots together, but the girl seemed to be the only human worker. “Hello! I'm Ruby. Welcome to the Spearton labs!” she chirped. The robot turned her head and fixed his eyes-or rather, his cameras- on her. “You're a special robot designed to specifically entertain Mr. Spearton, and he's the boss of this place!” she continued. Looking around, the robot discovered that there was no one else near him. “Since I'm helping him do this and he's my father, he told me I could name you! I'll call you Cuddles,” she said, grinning fondly. Cuddles wondered what Mr. Spearton was like, and if he's anything like his enthusiastic daughter. Then he took a look at himself. He had smooth limbs with shiny white metal coverings, and he was sure he won't be fun to cuddle. “We'll have so much fun together! And then I could show you to Mr. Spearton!” Ruby yelled. Cuddles wondered vaguely why she called her own father Mr. Spearton, and then she grabbed him and rushed out.

Fairy Tales-170 words

“La, la, la!” a young maid sang in a horribly off-key voice while cleaning the floor. Her master watched her and gave a haughty sniff, but she ignored him. Then a young girl came rushing in. “Look, Milly and Daddy! I found a cute kitten!” she yelled. Then the master embraced her but kept a wary eye on the maid and the kitten. Milly was the most pleasant and optimistic maid he ever had, but she was also the most erratic; cleaning the windows with oil, catching pixies and spiders instead of anything edible, feeding the farm animals chili peppers, and about ten thousand more things.“Be careful!” he yelled. “Alright, we will, Master Arlog!,” Milly shouted back. Sighing, Arlog stepped into his room and promptly tripped over something. “What the-” he barked, but then fell in a vortex down… down… until he was suddenly sitting on a throne with no idea how he got there. “Greetings, my king,” a young boy said, bowing to him. Arlog was utterly perplexed.

A weird collab me and my sister did that's based on my mystery part for the weekly but I changed the names:

The journey

~Part 1~

Mira quickly opened the suitcase, looking through the papers. She was sure that the agent had hidden the key in here. As she shoved aside documents of lawsuits and college applications, she came upon a small piece of folded paper, cracked and yellow with age, with only three words and a signature.

Don't let her,
V.4

Mira stared in puzzlement at the note. Who's her? And what's V. 4? But then the sound of approaching footsteps wiped every thought from her head. Clutching the note in her hands, Mira lept towards the window just as a heavy-set man in a black coat stumbled into the room. Spotting her, the man let out an inhuman growl. “What are you doing with Ves-” He was cut off as Mira grabbed the nearest thing she can find- a large dictionary- and hurled it at him. It conked the man on the nose, and Mira grinned in satisfaction. Then she leapt out of the window and landed on the soft grass outside. Hurrying into the woods, she peered at the note. It seemed awfully insufficient for such an important-looking note, and she extracted a UV-light reader and shined it on the paper, gasping in horror as she read the secret message.

A PERSON NAMED Misty IS COMING TO GET YOU, HIDE!

Mira looked around wildly for someone, but saw nothing. Suddenly she saw a flash of brown. She shrieked in horror and ran for it.

The person chased her, but it looks like she doesn’t want to make it obvious. Mira ran into a wall, very high and unclimbable. Shoot, she thought, turning back to the person, and the best thing she can do is pray that the person won’t hurt her.
The person walked to her, slowly. To Mira’s surprise, the only thing the person said was; “Howdy.” Mira looked up, her fear vanishing little by little. “Wh-who are you?” she asked, fighting back the urge to cry out in terror.”I am , but, well, my ‘nickname’…just the thing I tell other people to call me, is Misty. Possibly Misty Hamilton Scoresby,” she replied. Mira looked up in astonishment, Lee Scoresby and Alexander Hamilton! For the first time she noticed the person was wearing a cowboy costume.
“I’m not doing any harm, and what’s that note? A person named Misty is coming to get you, hide?” Misty let out a laugh that sounded rather like a bark, sly and humorless. Mira quickly stuffed the paper into her pant’s pocket, feeling that it’s better if Misty doesn’t see what it is. “I am Mira,” she said, glad her voice came out clearly and strongly. “How old are you?” Misty asked. “Idk,” Mira replied, “the author didn’t tell me yet.”Well, I’m almost ,” Misty told her. “Almost ? You’re big for your age, then,” Mira said, looking up at her in surprise. “Well, yeah,” Misty shrugged. “But what-” Mira was cut off as Misty shoved her inside a bush. “What-?” Mira tried to ask but Misty shushed her.
They heard a voice. “But that paper is important! We can’t even see it, and she stole it!” Mira flinched, wondering what they’re up to. Then she realized Misty was gazing at her, and guessed she knew that she stole the paper. Mira accidentally sat on a twig. The two people jumped in alarm and dived for the bush. “Shoo, people!” Misty yelled, jumping out of the bush and shooting them with a bow that she made herself. But as soon as she shot them, the bow broke. The two people laughed at her. “What? Lee Scoresby didn’t have a bow,” Misty defended. Then she kicked the two people, who both fell back in surprise.
“Run!” Misty yelled, giving the two people a few more kicks and followed Mira, who was already running. “What happens if they catch us?” Mira gasped, slightly out of breath. “We’ll make sure that doesn’t happen,” Misty assured her, running super fast. “I’m scared,” Mira confessed. “Then let’s sing songs!” Misty suggested cheerfully. Mira stared incredulously at her. “Seventeen, se- se- seventeen. Se- se- seventeen. Seventeen eighty-nine,” Misty sounded more like talking. “How does a custard-” She started. “Custard?” Mira asked, confused. “shhhh,” Misty replied, making Mira more confused. “Orphan, immigrant decorated war vet,” Misty sounded slightly like rapping, while taking the lead. Mira followed, excited, she was a huge fan of Hamilton, but she didn’t tell Misty. We’re not friends, just not yet. “Unite the colonies through more debt, fight the other fighting fathers ‘till they have to forfeit,” Misty chirped, keep rapping. “Have it all, lose it all you ready for more yet. Treasury secretary Washington’s the president. Every American experiment sets a precedent, not so fast someone came along to resist him. Kissed him off till we have a two-party system. You haven’t met him yet, you haven’t had the chance. ‘Cause he’s been kicking butts as the ambassador to France. But somebody’s got to keep the America Thomas-” Misty cleared her throat. “American promise, you simply must meet-” Mira was excited because this is the part where Jefferson came back. “THOMAS THOMAS!” Misty cheered. “Thomas Jefferson is coming home,” Mira chanted. For some reasons Misty didn’t look surprised at all that she knew Hamilton. They sang for a couple more happy minutes, when they heard footsteps behind them. Misty jumped, turned around, and picked up a rock, ready to throw it at the person.
“NO! I’m not your enemy!” The person yelled. “Then who are you?” Misty asked, still gripping the rock. “I am Thomas Jefferson,” the person told them. “Ha ha, very funny,” Misty laughed . “No! I’m really Thomas Jefferson!” The person who claimed he was Jefferson protested. “How do I know you ain’t lying?” Misty asked with a western accent. “How am I supposed to know?” The person snapped, looking thoughtful. “Um, I…was an archaeologist. Mastodon Mandible?” The person shrugged. “I didn’t know,” Misty frowned, pulling out a laptop from her coat. She searched it up, muttering some things Mira can’t hear, then raised her head. “That’s r-” she stopped abruptly. “What kind of-?” she began. “Protohistory,” the person cut her off. “Wait a sec, you look modern, so you ain’t Thomas Jefferson, ha!” Misty accused, laughing and forgetting to have western accent. “Oh yeah?” The person said, sounding like he was sneering. He pulled off his hair, which had actually been a wig, and revealed white hair. “You stole that!” Misty cried. “Yes, I did, not like those-” he pointed back to the place where Mira had escaped from. “People in there would notice,” he finished. Misty glared at him, “it’s not possible! You can’t have traveled in time!” “Maybe Hamilton doesn’t get enough credit,” The person muttered. Louder, he said, “Hamilton invented a machine.” And as if on cue, two people appeared. “What? THOMAS JEFFERSON, YOU ALMOST DESTROYED THE MACHINE BY JUMPING INTO IT!” One of them yelled accusingly to the person. Mira looked at them in amazement. “B-but it’s just- impossible!” Misty cried, looking at them.
“What’s impossible?” the person that insulted Jefferson stood up and turned to her. “You…you ain’t Alexander Hamilton,…are you?” Misty asked in a hushed voice. The person looked surprised, “why, yes, yes, I am.” “And I suppose you’re John Laurens?” Mira turned to the other person. “Uhm, yeah,” the person stood up, wiping dust off him.
Then, as fast as lightning, two more people appeared. “What-” Misty looked overwhelmed. Mira was completely in shock, how the people traveled to the future. “Okay, who are all you freaks,” Misty asked slowly. “I’m Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier de Lafayette, Marquis de Lafayette,” one of the people replied quickly in one breath. “And I’m-” the other person tried to say but was cut off by Alex, John, and Lafayette.
“HERCULES MULLIGAN!” They all yelled as if he was a celebration. “Uh, yeah,” he said awkwardly. “I’m just going to pretend you guys are imposters,” Misty told them in her western accent. “What?!” Jefferson yelled. “What?!” Misty mimicked rather meanly, “that’s really…interesting and annoying.” Jefferson glared at her, in complete loss to speak.
“Hey,” Mira said suddenly, “what if we show you a musical?” “Yeah, great idea!” Misty agreeds. “Musical?” Jefferson asked, confused. “Some stuff people act out,” Misty replied impatiently. But suddenly Mira remembered what she was here for, and she sincerely regretted it. “I’m sorry, but I just remember…I have to do something, maybe next time?” Mira asked apologetically. “Sure,” Misty replied, sounding slightly disappointed. “I have to go,” Mira said, going away. She can hear Misty calling after her, “good luck!”

~Part 2~

Nobody was accompanying Misty anymore. How childish and silly of her, thinking that someone will keep her company forever? She turned back to the people from the past. “I think you better settle down somewhere,” she told them. “Don’t you have a place we can stay?” John asked. Misty gave a forced smile, “no.” Jefferson started to walk away. “Don’t steal more things!” Misty yelled after him, her throat dry.
“We should go,” John said politely and went away with Alex. Herc and Laf hurried after them. For a moment Misty wished she was going with them. But no, she will not stop until she’s finished this quest. “I just wish you are here to help me,” she murmured aloud.
But then Lee Scoresby appeared next to her. “You are Misty, right?” he asked, “Yes!” she exclaimed happily. Her favorite cowboi was here. She wondered if she teleported to the fantasy world “I’ll go with you on your quest,” he told her. Hester appeared next to him. Then… A cool person with roller skates appeared out of nowhere. “Hey, guys! I’m not Sandy, but I’ll be your friend! I’m Alexander Burr,” he told them in a cool-person fashion. “HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT SANDY?!” Misty shouted excitedly, “do you…?” “Wait, Alexander Burr?” Lee Scoresby asked. “Yes, I am Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr combined,” Alexander Burr told them proudly. “But I’m a modern person,” he added. “But, I just saw Alexander Hamilton back there!” Misty said, accusing him of being an imposter.
“No, you’re in a fantasy alternate universe where everything is different. Like I’m still alive” Lee told her. “Anyways, I brought you someone,” Alex Burr told Misty. Mira appeared.
“Great! Misty exclaimed happily, “I just wish Sandy was with us…she’ll have loved it here.” The thought made her sad, her sister was gone
“NO NEED TO WORRY!,” a random person appeared. She wasn’t Sandy. “Who the heck-ity heck are you?” Alex Burr asked. “I’m Summer, one of Sandy’s OCs,” Summer told them, “Oh,” Misty nodded. “But I want the real Sandy! The good and alive one! Oh, talking about that, I’m not the real Misty neither, I’m an OC,” she sighed. Then she looked up, “but at least I’m Misty’s most original OC.”
She turned to Lee Scoresby, “you’re cool, and where did you get that huge pistol? I want one!” “I don’t think kids are supposed to have guns,” Lee Scoresby replied sternly. “Where’s your balloon?” Misty asked excitedly. Lee suddenly looked sad. Misty covered her mouth, “oh yeah! Sorry for asking…” Summer looked at them, “what? I never read that far.” “Read it yourself,” Misty threw her a filthy look, slamming the book in her face. Summer ead the book and gasped in horror. “Yeah! So-” a howl made her stop.
“KAYLA!” She screamed, running towards a tuxedo cat. Her very favorite cat, Kayla, was bounding towards her happily. “She’s your daemon,” Lee said at once. “How do you know?” Misty asked. “Magic,” Lee replied, grinning. “Talking about magic,” said a dreamy voice. Misty’s eyes widened, “Luna Lovegood!” Luna smiled at her, holding her wand. “What about my daemon?” Summer asked. A Nebelung jumped into her lap.
“Oh.”
“I’m going to climb that tree,” Misty pointed at a tree. She climbed it. “This part is unclimbable!” she yelled after several moments. “Just let go,” Summer told her. “Talking about letting go while climbing a tree,” said a male voice. “Evan Hansen!” Misty shrieked. Evan jumped, looking nervous. “It’s alright, social anxiety is stupid,” Misty grinned. “But I lied to them, it’s natural I don’t have any friends,” Evan mumbled. Suddenly Jared appeared. “Jared!” Misty exclaimed brightly. “We’re family friends,” Jared scowled as Evan turned to him.
“This is so amazing!” Misty beamed at everyone. “I want a wand!” She told Luna. “Accio Misty’s wand!” Luna said. A wand flew to her hand and she handed it to Misty. “Also me!” Summer chirped. “Accio Summer’s wand!” Luna called dreamily again. A wand appeared in her hand and she gave it to Summer. “Stupefy!” Misty cried. Summer’s wand fell out of her hands. “Accio wand!” Misty said gleefully. “Now, Lee, Evan, and Jared,” Misty turned to them. “We don’t need a wand,” Jared told her briskly. “But everyone has one already,” Misty protested. “Fine then,” Jared turned away. “WANDAPPEAROUTOFNOWHERE!” Misty tried. But the spell didn’t work. “Oops,” Misty sweated. “ACCIO WAND FOR THOSE PEOPLE!” Misty yelled, pointing her wand at Jared, Evan, and Lee. “You do it,” Misty turned to Summer as her second try failed.
Accio Jared’s wand! Accio Evan’s wand! Accio Lee’s wand!”
Three wands came flying out of nowhere and hit their new owners in the chest. “Yay! You guys need a daemon-” Misty began. “Daemon?” Jared asked sharply. “A cool animal that can talk and stuff,” Misty replied. “You mean pets?” Evan asked, looking interested. “Uh, pretty much,” Misty replied. “Accio daemons!” Misty cried. Lots of daemons appeared, burying them all alive. “Evanesco!” Misty shouted, vanishing the not needed daemons. “Sorry!” Misty yelled. She turned to Summer, “do it for me, please.” “Sure,” Summer replied.
Accio Jared’s daemon! Acio Evan’s daemon!”
The three daemons dropped in front of their owners. “Okay, Lee, Evan, Jared, and- Oh! Alex! I forgot about you,” Misty apologized. “Accio Alexander’s wand! Accio Alexander’s daemon!” Misty copied Summer. A wand and daemon fell in front of Alex. The daemon was a little lion. “You guys, read those spellbooks, and practice the spells, please,” Misty told them, handing all of them a spellbook.
“Avada K-” Jared tried to say the spell but was cut off by Misty. “No! Not that one!” Misty told him, “it’s a killing spell, if you didn’t notice.” “Oops,” Jared said quickly, putting his wand down onto his daemon, which was currently a jackrabbit. “Hey!” The daemon, Lily, protested. “Kayla!” Misty called to her tuxedo cat. Her cat bounded towards her, turning into a jay and flapping his wings.
“That’s a weird name for a tomcat,” Evan said, which Misty didn’t take as an insult. “I’m really hungry!” Kayla turned back into a cat and meowed. “Go hunt, like Firestar-” Misty stopped abruptly. A fire-colored cat appeared out of nowhere.

~Part 3~
“Oh my gosh- FIRESTAR! YOU’RE ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS!” Misty shrieked as Alex Burr’s skates broke. “Repa“Personfy!” Misty tried. “I’m sorry, it doesn’t work,” Firestar meowed sadly. “What?” Misty shrieked, shaking the earth. “I’m sorry!” Firestar yowled, trying to stop Misty from killing them all.
“I have arrived,” meowed a clear female voice. “OOOOOOH! MISTYSTAR! YOU ARE MY VERY FAVORITE CHARACTER!” Misty yelled so loud that the ground under her collapsed, and she fell in. Then she saw Sinead Starling. “OOOOOOOOOOOH! IN THE FANFICS YOU AND YOUR BROTHERS INVENT COOL STUFF!” she screamed. Sinead Starling jumped, startled. Then Sinead flew out of the hole with a thingy majingy she invented. Then Misty calmed down. “Sandy! I mean, oops, Summer. That was awesome! I love this world!” she gasped, breathing real hard. “You have gone…” Summer trailed off, frowning. “Arandompersonfromafandomwelikeappearoutofnowhere!” Misty shrieked gleefully. Summer gasped, as a Remus Lupin appeared. “Remus Lupin? Oh, I didn’t read about him much yet. But I guess he’ll be okay,” Misty said brightly. She started reading Harry Potter And The Prisioner Of Azkaban. “Harry Potter is stupid, he doesn’t hurry up and grab the Snitch!” Misty hissed aloud. Lupin looked at her.
“Harry Potter is a very intelligent student who had performed well in Defense Against Dark Arts. It was the dementors’ fault he fell off his broom,” Lupin said slowly. “I DON’T CARE!” Misty shouted in Lupin’s face. Lupin was taken aback. “What? You’re not my favorite character,” Misty said snarkily. “Excuse me?” Lupin said calmly. “I-” “DUMBLEDORE! FIRE HIM! AHHHHHHHHH!” Misty screamed and looked like she was going to cry. Lupin jumped, startled. Summer stood up high, rolling her eyes at Misty. “My sister has a bit of, how you say, attitude problem,” she explained. Misty adapted her western accent. “It ain’t like that, I just don’t like this fellow,” Misty said curtly. “Also, I’m not really your sister. I’m Sandy’s sister,” she added. Summer nodded reluctantly. “Whatever you say-” “Ma’m! Summer will pay for her behavior!” Misty shouted gleefully. Summer rolled her eyes again, but grinned.
“One last time!” George Washington appeared in front of them. “GEORGE WASHINGTON!OOOOH! YOU’RE THE PRESIDENT! AND THE LEAD OF THE REVOLUTION BATTLE THINGY!”“We summoned him, I think!” Alex Burr said happily. “By singing One Last Time?” Evan asked. “Evan,” Misty said suddenly, “let me sign your cast.” Evan gave her his cast, “there.” Misty signed it in her neat handwriting.
Misty Hamilton Scoresby
“Really, Misty Hamilton Scoresby?” Evan said, awestruck. Summer looked jealous. “Me too!” she said, grabbing a pencil. “O-oh, thanks,” Evan stammered, handing the cast to her. Next to Misty’s sign, Summer signed in a neat cramped handwriting.
Summer Scoresby Hamilton.
“Oooh, that’s definitely a cool name too!” Evan exclaimed. “Mine is more fancier,” Misty pointed out. “But that doesn’t stop Summer’s signature from looking good too,” she added hurriedly. Lupin was staring at them. “I prefer not to sign anything that includes Muggles,” he said quickly, but then he seemed to at once realize it was a mistake. “Evan is not a Muggle,” Misty shot back, “and he’s been waiting for years to get people to sign his cast, so shush.” Lupin glared at her. “What if I challenge you to a duel?” Misty asked. “I- no thanks,” Lupin replied. “WHAT? RUDE! AHHHHH!” Misty screamed, aiming her wand at a tree. “Incendio!” She screamed in the tree’s branch. The tree bursted into flames. Lupin watched calmly.
“Aren’t you a half-blood yourself?” Sinead asked. Summer got bored and held out her arms. “I SUMMON AMY CAHILL, DAN CAHILL, NELLIE GOMEZ, FISKE CAHILL, WILLIAM MCINTYRE, CARE PIERCE, JAKE AND ATTICUS ROSENBLOOM, CLAY, TSUNAMI, GLORY, DEATHBRINGER, STARFLIGHT, FATESPEAKER, SUNNY, PERIL, TURTLE, MOONWATCHER, WINTER, DARKSTALKER, QIBLI, BLUE, CRICKET, SNOWFALL, PERCY JACKSON, ANNABETH CHASE, THE OLYMPIANS, LEO VALDEZ, JASON GRACE, THALIA GRACE, NICO DE ANGELO, KATNISS EVERDEEN, GALE HAWTHORN, BEETEE, SANDSTORM, HOLLYLEAF, BRISTLEFROST, TWIGBRANCH, JAYFEATHER, VIOLETSHINE, LEAFSTAR, LEAFPOOL, TANGLEBURR, LIESEL MEMINGER, FDR, ALEXANDER HAMILTON, AARON BURR, ALL THE REST OF THE HAMILTON CHARACTERS, ABRAHAM LINCOLN, JAMES MONROE, KING LOUIS XVI AND THOMAS EDISON!”
“I SUMMON LYRA SILVERTONGUE, WILL PARRY, LORD ARIEL, MASTER GUY, MRS. COULTER, ANA, SQUIRRELFLIGHT, AND- AND- VOLDEMORT, DUMBLEDORE! AND- HERMIONE GRANGER! RON WEASLY! GINNY WEASLY! FRED AND GEORGE! JONAH WIZARD! AND- JOHN FAA! FRA PAVEL! AND- YES!” Misty shrieked. She hated how Summer was greedy and get so much creatures and people, so she got creatures and people from His Dark Materials, Warrior Cats, and Harry Potter herself. She closed her eyes as tons of people appeared.
“PEOPLE! CALM DOWN, PLEASE!” Misty called. She took a deep breath.
“Why are we here?” Katniss demanded
“You have been summoned here at my and Summer’s will, please, let us explain everything!” Misty gestured towards Summer, too lazy to say anything.
But Voldemort wouldn’t listen. Raising his wand, he was about to kill them all when Summer waved her hand. Voldemort’s wand disappeared and he glared at her. “Since Misty didn’t read a lot of the books that you are from, try to refrain from giving her too many spoilers,” Summer explained. “What?” Misty shrieked, outrages.
Tangleburr stepped forward. “Father!” she cried, running towards Alex Burr. “What the-” Alexander Hamilton exclaimed. “Who’s that?” Liesel pointed at Alex Burr. “No idea,” Aaron Burr shrugged. The cats were mystified. Actually, everyone were.
Everyone was also very surprised that they spoke the same language. “If I’m right, Liesel speaks German, the dragons speak Dragon, the cats speak Cat, we speak English, and King Louis speaks French. Not to mention the Greeks and Romans,” Summer observed.
Misty grew impatient. “I want to take some people and leave!” She cried, annoyed. “What?” Voldemort snarled, “take some of us?” “Not like you don’t!” Misty retorted, pointing her wand threatenly at Voldemort.
“I’m confused! WAIT! I HAVE A VISION! WE’RE ALL GONNA SAVE THE WORLD AND EAT A LOT OF DELICIOUS THINGS AFTERWARDS!’ Fatespeaker yelled. “Ha!” Misty laughed, “so you say so!” “
“ Starflight glared at her. “Fatespeaker’s visions are sometimes true,” he said angrily. But Qibli nudged Moon. “What do you think?” the Sandwing asked. Misty cried out in frustration, “I’m leaving! You’re all gits-” “Ok, let get this straight,” Summer interrupted. “Why are we here anyways? I thought you had some kind of quest, Misty,” Summer said.
“It’s to find Sandy!” Misty cried, “I’m going to get on with it!”
Then Sandy appeared. “You know, you could’ve told Summer that in the first place, and I would be here,” she said in annoyance. Summer disappeared. “Me and Summer are actually the same person. So, I guess this ‘quest’ is over?
“WAIT! We want to find out more! Why are we here? Some of us are even brought back from the dead!” Alex Ham yelled. Misty frowned, “this is too much chaos, I’m leaving.” She turned to Sandy, “do you want to come with me?” As Sandy hesitated, Misty huffed. “I’ll take that as a no!” She snapped, picking up all her things.
“Hmm… I’ll come with you. Bye, guys!” Sandy called out happily. All the characters from her favorite fandoms were there. She quickly talked with them for about 2 minutes each, same with Misty.
“Bye, Lee, “ she said regretfully to Lee Scoresby. Then she turned to Luna, “you gave us magic, thanks.” “Jared, I’m sure you’ve been nice to Evan, you’re a good friend in the past time,” she added to Jared. “And Evan, you gone through all these things, I’m…happy,” she smiled at Evan Hansen. “Bye everyone!” She cried, almost crying.
“BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI!” Sandy called out. Then she ran away, figuring how many words she should tell SWC that she did.

Did you like it? It was a collab between me and @Havy2468, and it's hard to remember who did what parts. I think we mostly did the things for our own OCs, though, and I guess I wrote about a third of it.

(I'm pretty sure my sister wrote almost all of Part 1)
(Hopefully, we didn't put something overly weird in here, or overly not-making-sense
We probably did though xD)

Word war with @thedancinghedgehog

The silver lion padded out to the dark savannah. It seemed very bleak and lifeless to him, but that was because it was his first time here. Separated from his family by a poacher and then sold, he had traveled the wide, wide world. Now that he was back, it was quite disappointing. This is where I came back to? He wondered for the millionth time. He was alone, but there were no traces of other lions to be seen. He had heard from his good friend in the circus, Alexander the elephant, that lions were golden and had golden manes. The silver lion himself had no mane, and he had no name, either, save for the one given to him by his captor… Silver. He never liked it; it reminded him of how he was different from his species. But, was it possible that he had a family, one with lions who looked just like him? He saw a flash of gold ahead, next to a lone tree. Slowly he trotted there, then faster, then broke into a gallop.

A continuation of the story above^

Diana shivered as the silver lion padded up to her. He cocked his head in curiosity and looked at her carefully. When Diana reached out a hand he was startled, but did not draw away. “What happened to you, poor thing?” Diana asked, but the lion did not know himself. He thought the same thing. How did a human wind up along out here? He sniffed her hand and nuzzled it. This girl seemed friendly, and he slowly advanced toward her. Then he crouched and looked at Diana expectantly. “You want me to…ride you?” she asked warily. He blinked at her slowly, and Diana took that as a yes. Slowly getting on him, she finally sat down and held him around the belly tightly, but he didn’t seem to mind. Then, the silver lion took off. Diana shrieked, but it was a sound of delight. Through the vast moor the two moved, as swift as the wind. As the silver lion slowed down, Diana gazed at him fondly. There was now a strong bond between the two, and she wondered vaguely whether it was destiny. Finally he stopped, and she gave him a hug. “I’ll call you Windspirit,” she decided. Windspirit. He loved his new name.

“Faster, girl, faster!” the soldier urged his pony. Glancing back beneath him, he saw with a jolt of fear that the king’s men were still chasing him. Spying a small cart lying at the side of the road, he had an idea. He lept off his pony and landed in it, his momentum pushing it down the hill. “I’ll catch up with you later!” he yelled to the bewildered horse, even though he knew very well that she couldn’t understand him. He looked back ahead and saw that the cart was headed towards the lake. The soldier jumped out at the last moment as it tumbled in the water with a loud splash. Thankfully, there were a few tall oak trees around, and so he quickly climbed one and hid there.

The desert was barren, and the sun’s light beat down against the earth. Kim shielded her eyes and headed for the pyramid on the horizon. Taking a gulp of water from her bottle, she reached into her backpack and pulled out a book. The Guide to the Deserts of North Africa. Then she took out her phone and sent a text to her mother. Hey mom, I’m doing great, no need to worry.

Daily 3/11-338 words (it was really hard lol)

It was a dark and stormy day. It was raining outside, and all of the fourth-graders were stuck inside for recess. A group of 4 were playing Monopoly Kids, a few were reading, two were playing chess, one was talking with the teacher, one was sneakily looking at his phone, and the rest were focused on the movie that was projected on the screen. Then, suddenly, the lights went off. The movie stopped, and for a moment it was so quiet you can hear a pin drop-though there was no pin-and everyone was extremely confused. Then the teacher started rapidly talking before any panic could arise, even though she herself was scared out of her wits. There was no broadcast over the loudspeaker, and one girl wondered with a shudder whether any escaped criminals or anything of the sort had broken into the school.
“What just happened?” a girl, Marila, asked her friend. “Is it a secret surprise lockdown?” she joked casually, flipping her hair over her shoulder. But everyone else was really scared. And worse, there was no internet. Then they heard stomping sounds outside the door. Everyone ducked under a table or chair like they’ve done before in lockdown drills. The teacher did too, since no one knew if it was a real drill or not. Better safe than sorry. Then someone knocked on the door, and shouted some very harsh things. Everyone was frozen with fright, and nobody moved. “Should I text my parents?” the boy with the phone whispered to his teacher. He saw a flash of anger in her eyes, but she nodded crisply. Then, the teacher’s phone started ringing. Some students gasped, and the teacher quickly answered it. “An ad,” she hissed furiously. Now the people outside knew they were there. Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk now. They had to stay alive. The knocking and shouting soon stopped. Marila frowned and walked towards the door. Everyone watched open-mouthed as she unlocked the door and opened it. They were gone.

Cuddles tried to hang on as Ruby raced to an elevator. Springing in just before the door closed, she hit the button about infinity times. “You know, you can just press it one time,” Cuddles said. He was surprised about how singsong his voice sounded. “Oooh, you said your first words! Father always said that listening to robots’ first words is the most exciting thing!” Ruby exclaimed enthusiastically, hugging him tightly. Then the elevator door opened, and she stepped out. They were now in a bright hallway, with sunlight streaming in from side windows. “I’m taking you to my room,” she said, holding him up like a kitten.

Cuddles blinked as he saw the room. Ruby’s bed looked soft and comfortable with red blankets and pillows. Next to it he saw a bedstand, where a few items sat, including a Rubix cube, a little alarm clock, a white plastic box, and a blue pencil. “Come, let me show you around more!” Ruby told him, and this time he was used to her suddenly snatching him up. As they rushed past rooms, he saw that they were all empty. Where was everyone? Finally, they reached somewhere that looked like a large cafeteria.

Great. Annoyingly, I have to try to type 300 words in six minutes. That’s 50 words a minute. I suppose I could try to manage? Not that Dune is away, I want to try the 8D thing. Hmm, looks like he’s back. This is War is giving a lot of inspiration. Liberty’s Kids is, too. I could hear old Webs typing too. I wonder what? Anyways, I’m kinda lazy to research Ham’s side of the story, so I just want to round it off after he joins the war. That would be too…lazy, I guess? But I don’t have time for that. Wait, I know! I can do flashbacks of the battles he were in, and then move forward. Orrr, since the Cahill kids won’t meet him and finish for a long time, I’ll just try to include as much as possible. Strangely, the font randomly changed into Dekko. I’ll change it back later, but that’s not my concern right now. I hope that I already did 300 words. Oh well, if I didn’t then too bad. I’m wondering if i can try a similar style of writing for world wars. I guess I can? Meh, sure. I should go to Reading soon, though. REALLY. Let me just count my words first, and if I have enough then I guess I could stop. Dang it! I only have like 230 words. So I have to keep typing, and quickly, since the time will be up soon. So I don’t really know what to type about. How about plans for SaL? Yes, great! So Lafayette and Hamilton not Holt will both me kidnapped like a few thousand times. Dan too, since he’s like the one that’s most kidnapped. I think I could name about 5 times he was. Amy was kidnapped too, in Outbreak. How interesting. So, I don’t think…

^^^probably the weirdest thing I've written. Here's more context if you need it:

-Webs and Dune are WoF code names for two irl people
-SaL stands for Secrets and Lies, and it's a book series I'm working on
-Amy and Dan are two characters in 39 Clues, which Outbreak is a book of
-8D is 8D audio
-This is War is a Hamilton fanfic I'm reading
-Liberty's Kids is a show about the Revolutionary War
-Reading is one of my classes for online school.

Also, ‘me’ in the second-to-last line is a typo for be.

A terrible story I wrote for school as part of a reading assignment:

The girl quietly climbed into the freezing attic. The glow of the hallway lightswas far below her, and she quickly shuffled through the toys in her dusty toy box. Finding the purple rubber duck she used to like so much, she held it in her hand, then turned to the ladder. Suddenly, the electricity went out, and she heard something fall. A muffled yell sounded through the trapdoor. She hurried to the ladder, but couldn’t find it. Panicked, she stumbled around in the dark, trying to find the trapdoor. Then she heard a scratching sound at the window.
Slowly, she turned around and looked at it. There was a thin crescent moon tonight, and she could see the shadow of a head, and a small hand scratching. Now desperate, the girl ran to where the trapdoor should be and found nothing. She ran around while the shadow of the creature twitched ominously. Her foot caught on something, and she screamed as she tumbled down the trapdoor into total darkness. She could hear unusually loud noises and hoped that it was only her family, back from their shopping trip, not anything else. She moved towards the living room anxiously.
The door to the room creaked sinisterly. But there was no one there. The back door was open, and quiet voices drifted in the night. Whose were they? Then a beam of light sliced through the darkness and into the house. A huffing figure, with a face in shadow, stepped in, followed by two more people. Letting out a breath, the girl helped her parents carry their things inside. An animal control officer outside the window carried a raccoon to his van, and the girl told her parents and brother about her ordeal. Everything was fine from that day on.
