Smoothing and Spell check

Smoothing and Spell Check

Last time I had a suggestion, it was on the list of rejected suggestions. To my knowledge, this suggestion isn't on there, and I'm sorry if I overlooked it.

Smoothing
When I'm using vector to draw, most of my drawings end up shaky. Of course, I can spend two hours smoothing it using nodes, but that takes a while and it can completely ruin whatever I'm trying to draw. It's not my mouse- whenever I use bitmap or another program, it works fine, and I generally use a Wacom drawing thingamabobber. It still sucks, though, to draw in bitmap but convert to vector, since bitmap and vector are like cats and dogs- they simply don't mix. When you zoom in a lot, and draw, it auto-smooths it for you. I love that feature, but sometimes it's annoying. My workaround? A new button. When you draw something, you could have the option to smooth it. I think this feature was in 2.0, but I'm not sure. If it is, then I trust the scratch team had good reason to remove it(I believe I was a part of the scratch community right before the switch to 3.0, but I took a break, and I'm not sure if it was a feature in 2.0 at all). It could work similar to how, when you create a rectangle and add a node somewhere, the curve of the node is different than that of a circle or a square. I'm no expert on how this was coded, but it SeEmS simple enough.

Spell check
Additionally, when you type something into the text box anywhere, in bitmap or vector, there's no spell check. I know the spell check I have is a google thing, and the text boxes there are scratch-operated, but spell check works in the discussion forums and any comments. It would be helpful if you can't spell a word because your brain is tired, like onomatopoeia. I'm a grammar nerd, so when I see people spelling things incorrectly or using ludicrous grammar, I freak out. My brain could be put to ease by this modification. A spell check there would be extremely useful, and it could potentially help to moderate projects text boxes, too, with the same modification that the comments and forum posts and project instructions/notes & credits.

Thank you for reading my suggestions! Feel free to reply and tell me what you think- whether you're in agreement or opposed to it. Both opinions are encouraged and I <3 feedback :)

Pretty sure it wasn't. I was never that big on vector but it didn't have a very good brush tool in 2.0 at all. That's why most 2.0 vector art isn't hand drawn.

Hmm… that makes sense. I mean, most vector drawings are using reshape and rectangles even in 3.0.
