I like lolcat. Run any command like this:

command | lolcat

But first you have to install it

apt-get install lolcat

I have personally used a school chromebook, and also installed ChromeOS on non-chromebook laptop and a PC with brunch. I messed around with crosh a bit and I can tell you crosh itself doesn't do much. Type shell in chrosh for more features. You can also install chromebrew to install a larger set of packages. You can even use lxc to manage your containers, swap out linux distributions in these containers. There is much much more you can do this is just to name a few.
