Scratch 3.19.2 [i.e. Latest] Offline Windows Editor: Autosave feature in a directory? (i.e. Temp files?)
Hello,
Context:
I had something similar happen to me before where I was working on the project, did something that scratch had a mental breakdown over, and then had to force quit scratch, and ironically, start from scratch. I was making sure I saved regularly ever since, but today, I didn't do it once. I put a delete this clone under a create clone in a ‘my block’ set within a forever loop ‘When I start as clone’. Scratch is now frozen.
Question:
Please tell me the devs put in an auto-save feature? In some temp folder or something?
Other Bugs/Suggestions I thought I might flag here:
Any help on my issue is appreciated.

Other Bugs/Suggestions I thought I might flag here:
- Folders to put sprites into
Folders for costumes and sounds
Clones can have independent variables
Setting a colour to a variable does not work (had to do a backwards method using a list)
Every time I have more than about 20 sprites in the project and try to move them or copy code over to them, that entire box has a panic attack, and instead moves a different sprite etc.
Everytime I delete a block, scratch will not let me edit text (anywhere in the scratch editor) until I save the file, after which it starts working.
Any help on my issue is appreciated.

This seems like it should be "Bug and Glitches“ but also has a question which is for ”Questions about Scratch"…

The question is not only in the title, but under the heading question. As I said as a kind of footnote, other things I thought I might flag. I don't care as much about the other things or the bug itself I want my work back primarily like, lol, but would like help with the main issue which is at hand.
Do you have a potentially viable answer?

Scratch 3.19.2 [i.e. Latest] Offline Windows Editor: Autosave feature in a directory? (i.e. Temp files?)
Yeah that's a script known by multiple people to crash Scratch. There is no autosave of the app so you're stuck.
I have some replies (in regular text) to your questions (in bold)

Other Bugs/Suggestions I thought I might flag here:

If you want to suggest something, consider posting each of your ideas separately in the Suggestions forum. Sprites foldering has been suggested already (I'm not sure about foldering for any assets however), and clones actually do have copies of for this sprite only variables.- Every time I have more than about 20 sprites in the project and try to move them or copy code over to them, that entire box has a panic attack, and instead moves a different sprite etc. | That's probably because the jiggle animation messes with the positioning of the sprite cards.
- Everytime I delete a block, scratch will not let me edit text (anywhere in the scratch editor) until I save the file, after which it starts working. | Also happens when any Windows-style two-option pop-up appears (like from loading a project), but minimizing and reopening also fixes it.

Thank you for the response. Yeah, I was in a bad mood and wasn't bothered seperating out the suggestions from the question, but I would've hoped that somebody, like you did, would help, rather than just suggest (I though Stackoverflow was where that * happened ). Anyway, really appreciated support!
