No support. This would basically be Scratch promoting Sega, which I don't think Scratch should do for companies in general. It is also incredibly specific.

I don't think Sega would be interested. It's not impossible, as Cartoon Network collaborated with Scratch in 2017* *I actually forgot what year it was. Sega doesn't get any gain, and neither does Scratch.
And Sega is one of the fathers of video games.

I support emotionally wise because I like Sonic, but I 1/4 support logically wise (is there a 1/4 support?) because this won’t really benefit both side enough to actually do it

nintendofan2020Nintendo: says the*knock knock knock*
about the actual suggestion, I don't see this happening, most of the companies that ST has worked with support Scratch with donations. Sega does not.

I do not think a games company would be interested in collaborating with Scratch.

No support. There's no reason for Sonic's anniversary to come to Scratch. Maybe promoting the movie sequel when that comes out?

I'm more concerned about copyright issues than anything. And what would the benefit of this be? Does Sega actually cherish their fan games like you say they do?
And besides, its not like other companies did the same.
Scratch did not collaborate with Nintendo for Mario's 35th anniversary.
I really want to list more examples here but that's all I got :/

They didn't collaborate with nintendo (who is known for family friendly games), so why Sega?

This does not sound like a good deal to me at all. All Scratch would get from this is exposure/publicity, and all SEGA would get is fan games. Until someone actually gives any reason to why this should be a thing or what benefits either side would get, it's a strong no support from me.

Sega encourages fan content and it will be easier to create them in scratch. They didn't collaborate with nintendo (who is known for family friendly games), so why Sega?
Besides it's Sonic's 30th anniversary

This makes no sense. Why would SEGA or Scratch want to do this just because some Scratchers want to?
