This sounds very unnecessary, you could obviously tell if your wifi is out without it.

The only use I could see for this is cloud variables, in which case it wouldn't matter because you'd have to be online to use them. No support, I don't think this is useful

I don't know if this would be used enough to become an official feature. Nevertheless, a workaround exists by checking that the translate blocks give a result.

Wow, that's a better idea than I've used in the past. Nice catch! Though it does mark your project with a translation extension thing

This boolean would almost always return “true” unless the user downloaded the project and used it while their internet was out, which is unlikely.

Or if they loaded the page and then disconnected from the internet, which I guess is not impossible if you have an internet outage

Browsers sometimes refresh the page during a connection change, thus bringing you to the “No internet” page.

Not my browser. That sounds like a really annoying feature.

Hmm… I must've remembered wrong as I just tested it and it didn't refresh. I think it only refreshes when you're back on a connection, causing my Chrome Dino game to end prematurely.

But still, there are almost never surprise power outages. These days, they come from too many people using the air conditioners too much and the power cables being shut down ‘cuz they don’t want another wildfire. (Note: I'm writing this from California, so this might not apply to you.)

No support, you can't go to the Scratch website without wi-fi. So if you can't go to the Scratch website it might be because you have no wi-fi.

Why would you need it in the offline mode if it's offline and the wifi status won't affect the project?

You can be online while using the offline editor. I use the offline editor for multiple reasons even though I have a perfectly reliable internet connection. The problem is that it would be weird to have a block that only exists in the offline editor, they've never done anything like that before and I see no reason to.

Why would this be useful? It's only gonna return true the entire stinkin' time, so I don't think you should be using this block. Lemme know if there are any other things this block does (I think it'll only just check your internet connection then say if it's on or off.)

No support.

How would this help or have a use? I can't think of one.

People aren't always connected to the internet 24/7

How many times has your internet gone out while you were using a project online?
