Old Viewing System

I don't like how a view counts every time the same user visits a project. The old system was much better because it showed how many different Scratchers viewed it. It needs brought back.

Old Viewing System

The old system counted one view per IP address every day. I think it should track who is logged in as viewing it, but my way is sort of inbetween.

How I think it should work:
1 view is counted per IP address per user per 30/15(thereabouts) minutes. This includes guests(not signed in) and shows different Scratchers seeing it, as well as doesn't allow you to just refresh the page a million times to get a ton of views, but it also shows if a person has visited a project twice on separate occasions. I also think the view counter should not change at all if a project is Unshared.

Anybody else like this?

Sorry, but I don't support. With this new system, I believe that people have now stopped being so obsessed with views.

I don't support it directly either. But I will say that the reason they're not obsessed is because views are now next to meaningless. The counting system I described above makes them mean more, but prevents just counting it because you refreshed the page. View obsession might still be a problem, but it's more accurate and therefore gives it a real reason to be there. We might as well not count views if they show someone refreshing the page a million times.
