My game “Toasty's Adventure!” was remixed by a fellow scratcher, and upon noticing he hadn't changed a single thing about the project, I left a comment on his remix, simply asking if there were any changes, and this is how he responded:

I would hope that at least someone can imagine the immense frustration of putting hard work into a project, only to have it remixed and not actually “re-mixed” at all, and then treated with this kind of disrespect. I would also hope that one of the Scratch moderators would give this Scratcher some sort of banning for his rude behavior. This is just unacceptable.

He has made changes to the project since his nasty remark, but the remix feature definitely needs some event handling so that this sort of thing is prevented. Countless Scratchers' projects are “stolen” because of how easy it is to abuse the remix feature. Scratchers put hard work into the things they make and to have someone else receive just as much attention on a remix that isn't changed in any more than 5 ways is just… disgusting!

Please do something about this, ST. Scratch on, I guess…

Oh wait, after examining your game and his remix, it looks like he changed quite a bit actually. You should probably check again.

The comment was there. He must have seen this post and deleted the comment for fear of banning. Either that or a scratch mod deleted it since I reported it like 3 times.
