Find my projects or my user

Hi everybody!

This may sound a little bit silly, but i cannot find myself when i look in the search tab for my user name or the name of my projects…
I Have only shared 2 projects

I do need that because I'm going to be teaching scratch to some kids in a school and i want them to be able to search my teaching projects…

I already tried to add #Amadordelosrios Hashtag in the notes of the project and Amadordelosrios as a Tag….

Any help?

Check the Stickied ITopic.

No I don't make projects anymore. I left some time ago.
I only check the forums every now and then, but other than that consider me retired.

Hi Sonickyle!

Already did…

The thing is that I will be teaching 8 years old kids and the first thing I wanted is them to find my user…and I don't want to give them the
"http://scratch.mit.edu/users/navalguijo/" line, but I wanted them to be able to find me in the web…so they can look for me back their homes…

DId you read all of the section about searching? There is a link in there that pretty much tells you how to fix the problem.

Sorry about not telling you the solution here, but I'm trying to get people to actually notice the stickies.

Are You talking me about this?
http://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/36825/

Because I have a project called “Millito en Marte” that I shared in September 2013 so Google had enough time to Index it as well as my user…

If you talk about this:
http://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/55096/

It doesn't work either…

Shouldn't be easy to find usernames?

In the URL, enter:

http://scratch.mit.edu/users/YourUsernameHere

That will work.

I am teaching from zero and the parents doesn't need to know anything from computing…I wanted to show scratch because it is a good start
I am teaching them how to get to the web trough google and stuff like that…
I think I am not asking for anything strange…

I will teach them later about searching through the link bar…

Alright. I'm just gonna be honest. You will very rarely find anything using the Scratch searchbar. The best way to find anything is by doing what I said in my sticky topic (see my signature). If this doesn't work because Google hasn't indexed it yet, too bad. Direct linking is probably the only way to do it. Sorry, the search bar really needs to be fixed.

I don't know how long you have been on scratch, but I believe you need to be on scratch for something like 2 weeks before you'll appear in the search bar, but I could be totally wrong.
