Scratch 3.0 on Ubuntu

I use Ubuntu on my main laptop, and there is no official version of Scratch for Ubuntu (I use Scratch Desktop as my main Scratch editor.)
I don't want to be stuck with no Scratch Desktop.
Can you make and Ubuntu version of Scratch Desktop?

I don't think the ST will be ready enough to provide binaries for Linux, but you can compile the sources the ST provides.

Check the wiki for more info: https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Scratch_Source_Code

It's an operating system, which is actually more powerful than Windows.

Based on my knowledge, it does. But the suggestion is still valid because

Here is a Linux alternative list:
Photoshop - GIMP

And more

I gotta say, a list of two isn't that impressive.

Also compiling software on Windows is really tedious and I couldn't compile anything on Windows without lots of errors.
The only thing Windows win is its compatibility with paid software.

I know a fix for this, go to https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu and follow the instructions to install Wine (Wine is a program that allows you to run Windows apps on a Linux machine). After you have installed Wine, install the Scratch desktop for Windows and it will run perfectly.

P.S. You must use command prompt to install Wine

The reason most people won't switch to Ubuntu is because Windows grew so popular due to it's HUGE software library.
