Oh yeah and also I feel lucky that all games with mobile ads that are terrible involve anything except the object show community. I’d absolutely hate if they’d do that.

township has those type of ads but there is a mini-game allowing you to play the puzzle on the ad

I hate them.

Match-3s are ridiculously boring and I'd rather play Zen Koi 2, I Love Hue, or Dash Tag any day of the year.

And that's if I'm playing mobile games. Come on, bruh, Hollow Knight is way better than all of those combined.

They're all the same: cash grab games that advertise themselves as pull the pin games but are actually match-three games. If you actually want a pull the pin game, I suggest Hero Rescue. It's a mobile game that actually has that gameplay that for some reason, nobody bothered to create until lately.

Fishdom used to be way different and I remember it oddly enough. I believe it was some sort of management game where you manage fish? It's been forever since I played it or even saw it

I mentioned this earlier. The old design was really good. The new design just looks ugly and simplified. And it has bad ads. I played the classic Fishdom. Mainly the halloween one (I miss it).

They're just targeting younger audiences, and sponsor big companies to put their ads in their games.

My brother played Angry Birds 2 back in the day, and you could watch ads to get another life (which if they ran out, you couldn't do anything else). Then all these Fishdom, Gardenscapes, etc. adverts would pop up. I think these companies knew that younger kids would watch these ads willingly. Of course, these kids don't understand how bad these ads are and probably watch in horror as the fish dies in lava (lol). Then they of course get the game, and it works for the companies.

T.L.;D.R. The companies don't try because they don't have to.

All these ads are why I only play Switch games anymore.

No ads, just gameplay.

Also who else here absolutely loves Autodesk Sketchbook on mobile, not just because it's easy to use and free, but because there's no Gorb darn in-app purchases OR ads? (#notspon)

Ironically, the ad games for Homescapes, etc. (the one where you have to pick the right tool for the situation you're in) are kinda funny and interesting, and if I knew that the actual game was exactly like the ad, I would consider downloading and playing it.

have you tried township? there is a minigame allowing you to play a pin pull puzzle

Once I saw an ad for Homescapes and it had a person with four choices of tools to help remodel and fix a bathroom. They chose the towels for the flooding bathtub.

I don't download them, I mostly keep myself to ACPC and Sonic Dash.

I actually have played one of them just to see what it was like, it was, eh. I don't remember exactly what it was like, but it seems like a cheap Candy Crush ripoff for money. (I really like candy crush btw). The reason I downloaded it was because of all the ads, but I didn't really play it for long.
