I made a discussion form on scratch, which was closed by the scratch community. and I thought about making it again but in a project, but I don't know if it is allowed. I didn't make it yet, I just need to know if it is allowed.

you can make a forum in a project, but it can only have predetermined answers/questions if it is cloud. it's standard policy from the ST.

What about with comments?

Any form of cloud chat without a whitelist is not allowed. This includes forums, comments, or anything else.

You should be able to make a forum for your game/project on the show and tell section

You are however allowed preset phrases like:
Hello
Do you like trains?
I like trains

If you are talking about chatting in the project comments, that is allowed but you need to be respectful.

I think we might have gotten confused when you said “ and I thought about making it again but in a project”. The only way to actually do it In a project is with some kind of cloud chat. You just want to use the regular comment section of a project, right? that should be fine. It would also be okay to make a studio and then the people who curate and manage would get notifications when there was any comment activity. And it would fine to advertise either your project or your studio in the Show and Tell forum.

You can use the comment section of a project to discuss things and/or chat with others, yes. Of course, the thing you're discussing should be Scratch-appropriate…
