That said here's my idea for a boss that counters the inf energy strat:
-Passively gains strength
-Every once in a while does an attack that is stronger the more remaining energy you have (or maybe stronger by the energy you started with if you have any energy remaining)

I like this idea because you could just not activate jutsu 1 but risk it building up too much strength or you could go for an early kill but risk not getting rid of enough energy and getting recked. This makes inf energy risky but not unplayable.

Fully heal's Cecil's HP at the end of his turn

Nope lol XD, anyway, inf energy would actually counter a boss with frail because it could easily get rid of the bosses strength and have energy to still block. Maybe this boss's counter attack would be implemented as a one turn status effect that makes the next attack stronger depending on how much energy you have left.

I WON A HARDCORE RUN!! (I died to ichor slimes doing 20+ damage per turn on the next loop : P)
Seed: 8377
I accidentally grinded swarmers until I had 5 heath 5 dex and too much gold : P

I fell like there needs to be more cards, I feel like the only good sysnargy is inf energy and maybe applying forst and I end up always going for inf energy

I assume so. In the April Fools version, there are two characters and you are able to use, and you can select which one do you want to use for the challenge you choose.

Right now, increasing the max frost from 5 to 8 would make frost more op than it already is. As to the shields lasting, it would make the game too easy. If you want to play like that, check out the April fools version and play as Stony.

Tangara stone is for the block staying. But for 8 frost… You could one-shot ogumanga with 39 (max) strength and 8 frost

This would actually make the Deep Freeze move harder to “achieve”, because I'd assume with max being 8 it would then require 8 frost to stun.
Also, shields lasting would make the game way too easy.

That and combined with strength is nuts. Get 4 strength and 5 frost and you can deal 20+ damage depending on other status effects. If you enemy also has vulnerability? 30 damage!
