What Does The Glide Block Do?
The block allows you to move a sprite (or clone of a sprite) from the position it's currently at to the specified x and y coordinates in the amount of time you give. While it's an easy way to get a sprite to move across the screen in a period of time:
- The sprite's velocity remains constant so you can't get those effects where the sprite speeds up then slows down.
- If you have any scripts further down in the block stack, they have to wait for the glide block to finish sending the sprite to it's destination.

What Does The Glide Block Do?
It helps you to give smooth movement unlike go to which directly transfers to a particular place.
Than Explaining it you try it and you will notice what it does

go to x: () y: (0)
glide () secs to x: (0) y: (0)and that variable sets how much time and position to move from or use

when green flag clicked
forever
point towards [ v]
move ((distance to [ v]) / (10)) steps
end
Anyways, the glide block is supposed to make sprites move from one point to another, so you don't have to do these wierd scripts:
when green flag clicked
repeat <<(x position) = []> and <(y position) = []>>
move () steps
turn cw ([ v] of (x position) ::operators) degrees
end

But The Glide To Random Position And Glide To x y Are Very Different!Yes, the glide to random position glides to a random position while glide to x() y() helps you do it to a specific location.glide () secs to random position
glide () secs to x: () y: ()
