What do you actually gain when you become a scratcher?

Is it just a title or does it have a use?

When you get the Scratcher status, you get access to [img] tags and Cloud Variables.

Many things were ‘disposed of’ when 2.0 came around; Scratchers status may have been one of them.

No, the Scratcher status still exists. It's across the whole site now, so New Scratchers (should be) are not allowed to use cloud variables.

I think you can also get a signature by reaching Scratcher.
And Scratchers have to wait less time between posts.
