I tried backpacking everything, but my project says… Saving project… Project could not save. Then a button that says Try Again and another button, Download. I tried both, but the try again one just kept popping up, and upon clicking it again, it still had the same problem. And when I click download, it downloads alright, but when I open the file, it says that there is no app associated with the file… AHH! I tried finding an app, but Paint apparently could not read it, so now I can't even download it at all. What do I do?! This project is due tomorrow!!

Assuming you are a student, can you download the project and tell your teacher to load it into Scratch? Or make a recording of the video and send it? Is your internet good? All 3 of these things can affect a project. Worst case scenario, export each sprite and delete it, then save the project before importing it into the project.

It is a snow day for me, so I can't quite tell my teacher anything. Also, I have no idea how to do any of those things. (This is LivandLiv's other account)

This happens to me a lot. Basically go onto another tab of scratch and log back in, because it just usually logs me out. If not, just check your internet.
