Because of this, 1/6 of the players QUIT MINECRAFT.
1) Microsoft, so far, has done everything right. People hate it because developers pretend to hate it so that they can have Linux all to themselves lol.
2) Notch quit Mojang because he has no reason to work anymore. He's loaded.
3) Who cares? They bought the game. Mojang still has the same amount of money regardless of whether they play or not…

Remember that Mojang is still it's own company just like before, it's just that Microsoft now owns all of it's assets.

Notch said it wasn't for the money, he said it was his sanity.
And, Microsoft could ruin it

Well obviously. Those at Mojang had to figure out who got what of the 2.5 billion dollars.

There are a lot of bad things Microsoft could do to it (Indie game developers are more inclined to do things for the players and not for money, at least in my experience) but it'll all work out.

Yeah, one indie company that really stood out to me was Supergiant Games. Hopefully Mojang will bring us more great games.

I strongly disagree with #1 for how it can ruin MC because there's already “IAPs” in play, in player-run servers.
I'm not even sure how #3 would work for Microsoft… how would it transform into a ‘productivity tool’?

#1 for helping would be awesome, but it could make Google and Apple fans mad that they can't use Docs/Drive/iCloud
#2 somehow I doubt

So here's random info: 1: I once found over 20 emeralds while mining for diamonds. 2: XBOX ONLY!!! If you try to place and mine wood or a material block, you will have one on the floor, and one in your inventory, but have the pickaxe in slot 2 and the block in slot 1, and with practice, you can be rich!

3: I cleared out a HUGE area for a HUGE house! (also had to clear out a forest to get building materials. Eh. (With a diamond axe with effeicency II and unbreaking II

Minecraft! On Xbox One my brother couldn't get any saplings when he chopped down the trees. He got apples though.
