Howto: Import gif with transparency in Scratch 2.0
Trying to import gif images with trasnparent background to Scratch 2.0 always result in a white background (this dindn´t happen in Scrath 1.4).
A workaround using GIMP is duplicating the image in a second layer and then export to GIF as animation and selecting “One frame per layer(replace)” in the options dialog box.
This way Scratch will import 2 costumes, the first with the white background and the second without it… just ignore the first one or delete it.
