Hey! If you need any more examples of orders, taken orders and completed orders, I'd be happy to give you some of Buzzy Bee's!
That would be awesome! See this post for info on getting started. Thanks!

Of course! Here's about 30. This is only the first 17 pages, so I'll do more and other types tomorrow.

Okay, I am very low IQ and don't really understand what is going on here, but I understand the basics. My question is, and forgive me if it's painfully obvious, how should I feel safe giving over my passwords to this bot? It's gotta store all passwords somewhere, right? I trust you, but how do I know someone won't take hold of my passwords for malicious intent? Thanks! Other than that, this idea seems interesting!
You will never be asked to give your Scratch password to AutoUOC, however, you will be required to create a new password for your AutoUOC account.

GrahamSH wrote:

Basically, if somebody were to steal it, all they could do is change your UOC, nothing malicious
And your autouoc password will be hashed snd salted so that no one will be able to find out your password even if they can see the database, and it's sll stored in a secure database.

Edit: talking of storing passwords, I shpuld probably continue with the log in system…
Feel free to commit whatever you have now so we can work on it together if you'd like.
What I'll do is work on it today (I've kind of not done it for the past 3 days…) and then commit it to the repo in a seperate branch, because the changes I've made will completely break the Github pages. Then we can do whatever and when you've got the hosting set up we can push it to the main branch.
Incase your eondering why it breaks everything, it's because of the relative file paths, and links to urls. Express breaks all of it but also makes it easier… I've nade another file explaining it all for future reference

Got it! I’m still working out hosting (I’ve decided I’m just going to buy another droplet from DigitalOcean) but it should be sorted soon. Thanks for all the help!

Of course! These are new orders, I'll do other lists for the other categories today.

I thought that you were denied permission to use a bot on the forums? Was that decision reversed?

You should probably get the bot the scratcher rank so it can edit its posts and halve the delay between posts.

Sorry - It is my understanding that this project has been denied permission to run a bot on the forums.

Thank you!

I'm still talking with the ST via email on the future of this project. Unfortunately, it seems like making the bot won't be allowed. We'll continue development on an alternate version off-Scratch, where you can view and manage the UOC on the AutoUOC website

That would be cool and we can still keep this topic open since it still fits into the forum.

Updated the FP to remove any mention of the word bot.

Again, I am still talking to the ST via email. However, we are currently website-only.

Is the account system still going to be operating via profile comments then?
I should really keep going with that

Yes, since it's needed to verify accounts. However, AutoUOC will not comment on their profile.
