I support, as long as these things are implemented:
These have the same rules as normal cloud variables
Only the first project with the variable can change them
max of 80 projects can be used
only variables

Firedrake969: You mustn´t set variable in your project to bridge variable, and if you need it for another project, there could be set a limitation to include a bridge variable that you haven´t created so it must be authorized by its creator (with limit of requests to prevent spamming)Good idea, but could be “hacked” so one project could read another user's project cloud data.I said that only one user can access their own open variables.
zorket: This can be also solution, but it should make bridge variables less useful (it makes impossible creating a ONE central
(☁↔☁ virtual money variable)for trasfering money state informations to all projects that need to use them)

Or make an searching system that loads its “searchable content” from this bridge variable so all users can add their contentAnother use is that you can make one project controlled by another, or make multiplayer games on two different projects.but I'm failing to see how this would be useful..My zorkash system. Some projects could earn you more zorkash. Also, other scratchers could find other uses for this system. But honestly, I can't see another use for this except a project that's essentially the same idea as this.

Bridge Variables (ARCHIVE)
One person suggested that open variables should be called bridge variables, because they're a bridge from one project to another.I think it would be better as “i choose the open variable an by clicking on ”OK“ I send an request for approve connecting that bridge variable to my project (asking either for ”read“ permission or for ”edit“ permission)”
Everyone loves the new feature, cloud variables, where you can make high score lists, surveys and all kinds of stuff! But what if you wanted to take information from one project and be able to use it in another project? For example, I'm working on a system called Zorkash, and I could make other projects earn you more Zorkash on that one project. So. Here's how it would work.
Everything I'm about to say will apply in the same way for lists. So if you see something for variables, it goes for lists.
Two new buttons would pop up in the data menu, they look like this:
These buttons allow you to “load” variables and lists. But first, modifications are made to the current buttons to create variables and lists. Here is the new menu:
As you can see, there is a new checkbox that allows it to be an “open” variable. This can only be checked when cloud variables are also checked. Let me explain how an open variable works.
Currently, every project is limited to it's own cloud variables. It's almost as if every project had it's own server.
Now, it would be changed that instead of every project being limited to itself, every project should only be limited to it's user. The reason they can't connect to other projects is so that other people can't tamper with their projects by connecting to them. So anyway, it would be similar to every user having their own server, although they are actually all using the same server.
Now you know how we create these open variables and how they should be able to connect to other projects, but how to you connect to these variables in other projects?
When you're in another project, you can press the load variable or load list button. A dialog will pop up.
All of your open variables will appear in a list. From here you can check the values of those open variables, or connect to them. You can select an open variable from this list. Once you press Ok, the variable will pop up in your list of variables. Instead of a cloud symbol popping up, there would be some other symbol to indicate that the variable is open. Speaking of the cloud symbol, all I get for it is a box, which is another glitch to be fixed.
Do you like this idea? Please post your opinions!
All of the images were made in the scratch vector editor.

No support. (Am I the first one to not support this?) In my opinion this seems a bit complex for Scratch. Also, I don't think this is necessary. What would you use it for?

So you`re saying that people can exchange cloud data between Scratch projects with this suggestion?

Support! I tried to make an arcade, but the project gaets too big too fast, but with this I can have the same token system for all my games! Although if it has the same restrictions as the current cloud system it wouldn't be very helpful. If the ST could just add cloud lists or even just increase the character limt to 1000 that would help a lot, but of course it's rejected.

Support. Then you can make cross-platform data without using those pesky ‘savecodes’
