Looking for a Boston-based SCRATCH INSTRUCTOR

Hello everyone!

My name is Roh and I am City Manager for the Boston Games Forum. I am working with Microsoft to put together an event called Young Game Makers on Saturday 11/8, which is a one day event designed for kids ages 6-13 to learn how to make games.

Although we know someone from NYC's Microsoft Office who is willing to travel and teach Scratch… we would prefer someone local (ideally from MIT) to teach Scratch.

Note: This is an unpaid/volunteer opportunity. All profits go to Charity.

Let me know!!

Hi Roh! It sounds like you have a good event there, but we generally disallow sharing contact information on the Scratch site due to safety concerns when it comes to our younger audience. The forums aren't really intended for this sort of discussion anyway, but ScratchED community is. I think you'll have a lot more success looking for a volunteer there. Best wishes for your event.
