Scratch for Adults!
I think there should be a scratch for adults, just like Scratch Junior, it will be harder, instead of being easier.

No support. In that case, people could upload very inappropriate things. Also, it would divide the community.

You may want to try SNAP! (formerly BYOB) another visual, drag-and-drop programming language.:
It is an extended reimplementation of Scratch (a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab) that allows you to Build Your Own Blocks. It also features first class lists, first class procedures, and continuations. These added capabilities make it suitable for a serious introduction to computer science for high school or college students.

That wouldn't happen; the ST has already decided no.
On the jvvg's list of things that scratch will not be included, it said:

So sorry, no support 14. A 13+ version of the website
Scratch is designed for all ages, and dividing the community would not really help anybody.

Thats what this whole forum is for. In order to see if the idea is worth it, we need to study it from every angle; including negatives. They are not being rude, they are just pointing something out, like me. Please be supportive about my idea instead of sharing the disadvantages.
Anyways, what would an ‘adult’ scratch add to scratch? Scratch is optimised to teach kids, and not adults with hobbys. Perhaps define what you mean?

Don't have this attitude. If people don't agree, they should be able to explain their opinion, so that you can improve the idea. That's the point of a forum, to share opinions.

As long as Scratchers are friendly and respectful, they have the right to say the downsides of the suggestion. If a suggestion only received positive feedback, you wouldn`t get the entire picture. Please be supportive about my idea instead of sharing the disadvantages.

Well, honestly, if you're an adult, and you want a harder Scratch, I think what you need is a proper programming language, like Python.

(Edit: Here is a thread on What To Learn After Scratch.)

Geez why does everyone think it's adult so it allows obscenities? He means it's adult by advanced blocks.
I think there should just be an option in the file or edit tabs in the creator.

Support. But it may be confusing to New Scratchers when people talk about a block they've never seen before. Geez why does everyone think it's adult so it allows obscenities? He means it's adult by advanced blocks.
