Scratch horror game

Horror as never really been ‘done’ in scratch. Sure, there have been games with spooky themes but nothing that truly makes you want to sleep with the light on. I aim to change that with a point and click horror inspired by a half life 2 mod called Horror House. I have played many horror games from the SCP series to The House 2 and I have decided to bring the knowledge i have gathered to scratch. I plan on creating a point and click-style adventure that uses a combination of weird music, classic macabre, odd and creepy visuals and good old gore to give you the fright of your life.

Scratch horror game

There's a reason that “Horror has never really been ‘done’ in scratch”. Please recall that this is an all-ages site - so anything that is too intense is not something that should be shared on the site. Projects that are too scary are removed.

You are free to make what you want - but there are limits on what can be shared for public viewing here. You are also welcome to share your projects on your own websites - where you can define your own standards

I am aware that a large part of the scratch audience is younger viewers. Are there any set project rules and restrictions that go into more detai than the community guidelines and if so could you please link me to them as I would definitely try to stick by those rules and keep with the community aspect of scratch. If, when the project is finished, I, or one of the scratch team feels it is innapropriate, i will try to make a toned down version so the community can still see the project.
