Now, anytime I hear the word Kidz Bop, I think of their cover of Bring Me To Life.

Kidz bop isn't a band, it's a business. They rip off the most popular song at the time (which usually is not all that good) and copy-paste it, making the
smallest changes so they can get away with all their profits without suckering to the copyrights. I bet, if they were a band they would have shut down by now from all the hate. But no, as Filthy Frank once impersonated, “I would have killed myself if it wasn't for all this money!” and the exact same thing applies to this. All their fans are raving 12 year old drones who cannot take a single inch of criticism - and if you reply to this ranting about how I'm not
succumbing to these talent less thieves as deities then you're only proving my point even further.

I hope, after you read this you gain some form of common sense and grow up.

I hate kidz Bop!!! They sound terrible and they want to ruin songs and want to make them more “KId FRIeNDLY” like WHY?! It’s insane they just ruin everything like they try making kid appropriate but it’s not working on me!!! I don't think Kidz Bop is that bad. Sure, I don't like them as much now as I did back when I was 8 or 9 years old, but I still think they're okay. Maybe it's because a long time ago me and my brother got Kidz Bop 20 and we listened to it all the time in the car. (Now we also have 26 and 38.) It's probably just because I've been listening to them for years that I've developed a tolerance to them, but I remember when I first saw the commercials for Kidz Bop 20 I really wanted it because I liked what I saw. Now, even when I'm looking at some of the most modern albums like 39 and 40, I still kind of want to get them.

I get why people (like TheRealSam_) hate Kidz Bop in that they rarely make any original songs and really are just trying to profit from singing popular songs. But at the same time, these songs become different and unique. Plus, certain inappropriate phrases that people may or may not realize are present in many of these popular songs are replaced by a more kid-friendly alternative. Making the music videos and their own covers also brings out their own creative style, like a new interpretation of the song. Besides, listening to their albums has also introduced me to lots of songs that I didn't know I liked.

Well, you can't say the edited lyrics are inappropriate. There are some posts earlier in this topic that talk about how they go a little overboard on censoring certain lyrics and this example proves their point. I can kind of see what they were trying to do with changing those lyrics, but at the same time, it does take away from the song's original message and it's a bit of a stretch.
