Static vs. live notifications
Is the notification icon with the number in the corner live or static? Like when I load a page, will it only show the # of notifications since my last load of scratch.mit.edu, or will it continue to search through the servers and change the notification value on the page even after it is done loading?
Sorry I worded it in a weird way, I could think of a better way.

Oh, that's cool, then. I'm pretty sure that it's live.
