When I click “create”, I get a blank screen. When I try to leave, the website gives me a message “null”. I have Internet Explorer 9 64-bit with Flash installed. Does anyone else have this problem?

Even weirder: it acts like I can type in some areas (cursor and everything), but the text is invisible!?!?

Hmm…works in Chrome. But I really prefer IE9.

Do you have another browser that doesn't come bundled with Flash, such as Firefox, and could you test it with that if so?

I don't have Firefox on this computer–just Chrome and IE9.

It's worth noting that IE9 x64 had some problems with the flash viewer on the old website–crashing for certain projects–but that problem would come and go, seemingly randomly. I hadn't seen that problem for a long time, and it was nothing like this.

Everyone, please don't turn this into a browser war. It's just my personal preference, that's all.

Now, does anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

EDIT: New info. My computer knows there is text in the app–highlighting it shows text in the google toolbar. But everything is invisible, save the normal links at the top and the “Feedback” tab on the left.
EDIT2: The “featured” project on my profile won't play. Upon clicking, it goes blank, with the exception of the top bar.
EDIT3: Upon comparing to Chrome, other differences: no “loading” bar and the inability to change the featured project.
EDIT4: When viewing projects, I can get everything except the actual Flash project using “Compatibility Mode”. So it's definitely the Flash that's messing it up.
EDIT5: Same problem in IE9 x32.

Yeah, i'm on my brother's computer at the moment and it's Windows 7 32 Bit with IE9 and it dosn't work at all, yet strangley, it works no problem in IE8

So it's just an IE9 glitch? Hm.

I've given up trying to get this site to work on IE9 or logging IE9 bugs. I've switched to Chrome.

The Scratch Team just doesn't have enough time to address them. (At least, that's the way it seems to me.)

Yeah, the IE9 bugs on Scratch seem to be endless. But until this one, I wasn't too bothered.

I might have a solution: press F12, click on the “Browser Mode” drop down and click “Internet Explorer 8”.
Update: Yup, just tried it, it works like a charm

Thanks for the report - it's good to have a list of issues we have to work out to support IE 9, even if it is long and rather daunting.

Greenatic, I can reproduce the blank project glitch in IE8 mode, so I should be able to debug that.

However, the editor is loading fine for me on Win7 IE9, so I'm unsure what to look for. Can you open your console with F12, then click create in IE9, then post here whatever appears in your console?

Also, what do you mean by “And I can't comment.”?
