Max transparency shows the background of the object, which could be black; max saturation is pure white, and it will be white even with the background black. Either way though, this already exists - the brightness property basically points to saturation. Because of this, I'll have to report this topic to be closed.

Can we have a source on the brightness being essentially the saturation? I checked the Scratch Wiki and it didn't mention that.

I have changed the picture to include increasing brightness and saturation, as well as lightness and contrast as well as labels.

I had no clue that lightness and brightness had a difference. But I do think that if scratch were to add saturation, they would add all four of them lightness, brightness (though I already think we have that one), saturation, and contrast would be pretty cool.
