Every ban has a reason. EVERY SINGLE ONE. You don't know the full story of some users who get banned. That's none of our business, it's between the user and the ST. If teens and tweens get banned, it's because they have good reasons to. Scratch doesn't target teens an tweens just because of their age. Maybe it's because they swear and put horror stuff more often, witch is not allowed. Though, there's no such things as unjustified bans. Stop this rumor.

Actually, once a studio is taken down it cannot be put back.

If the studio is deleted by the owner, then it can't.
If it was false reported, it CAN be put back by the Scratch Team

Yes, but you can still get muted and or banned for a few days. Imagine if you got spam reported for no reason, then got muted for a week? Scratch helps me chill, make art, and chat with my friends. Having none of that would stress me out, and make me very angry and the person who reported. This system needs to stop, as a lot of my friends on here are leaving as the community is- and i'm quoting here: “toxic”. Is a toxic community really what we want on a kids coding website??
Just wait until you're unmuted, and then don't express your anger about it. (You can complain, but you must do it constructively.)
Ok, so there shouldn't be some change to being muted? You should just let the reporters report and spam? I think this is a big problem as some of my best friends left because of this. (oh, if this sounds rude, im sorry im not trying to make it sound this way
If you're having problems, you can email the Scratch Team.
Yes, but they already get TONS of emails. Making a studio and discussion will also help spread the word! Also, it bring awareness. Some report spammers might see how it is hurting people and stop! awareness is just as important as stopping it.

I'm sorry, but that is not true. You can believe that if you want, but some people have real life friends on here. If you get into an argument with your friend in real life, they may try to target you on scratch. Also, there are many rude people on Scratch that report for no reason whatsoever. We have proof.

That is true. The Scratch Team just bans people who break the CG. Only.
Also, being false reported doesn't get you banned. The max it does is getting you blocked for 1-5 hours.

Im sorry but that is simply not true! Do you not read the facts in my posts? I said that once one of my real life friends reported me because she was angry with me. I didn't post anything inappropriate! Please do not be rude or call facts rumors, it is unkind and you are denying facts and real life experiences.

then report any rude comments you get from them, or anyone else
if they do happen to target you, then you probably wont get banned, because you did nothing wrong probably

But, then there are other times, when a user breaks so many guidelines, and is super inappropriate and rude, and they aren't banned quickly enough. Yes, there are flaws, but then there are other times where we almost need a stricter reporting system.

(this is just my opinion)

Most bans are justifiable, the user just doesn't understand why what they did breaks the rules.

The ST does their best to ban the correct people for the right reasons, but sometimes, they make a mistake. They are human, and therefore, are not perfect.
Actually, I think they have an automatic system for reporting. If someone's comment or project is reported enough (even if it has noting inappropriate in it) it will be taken down by a robot, or the system. This is bad, because there are still trolls and rude people out there who report random things for fun.
Believe it or not, but such reports (multiple people in a short amount of time) are more often genuine than false.
Also, I believe that you can't get banned like this. The content only gets taken down, and after the Scratch Team views it, they either put it back or not, and then the user might get banned if it really is something bad.

You can't deny that sometimes this is true but It's also true the other way
I agree with many of the things you say However there's also another possibility, mass reporting has the possibility of getting you banned, normally it doesn't get that far, normally just being muted

I also agree on the fact that they are human, they make mistakes
