Have you ever had that time where you needed to pick a profile picture or studio thumbnail, but you couldn't decide on which one you like? Well, we can use default profile picture/studio thumbnail options to fix that problem! You don't just want a boring Scratch Cat icon as your profile picture or studio thumbnail! You want variety! There would be about 10-20 default profile pictures and studio thumbnails to choose from. Some examples of default profile pictures would be a simple balloon, a Scratch Cat/Gobo/Pico/Tera/Nano/Giga head, a planet, simple things like that. Some examples for a studio thumbnail include a GIF with some Scratch sprites/mascots, a grassy background, a food bowl, a GIF with a dancing Scratch Cat, things like that. These can also somewhat reduce the amount of inappropriate profile pictures and studio thumbnails, but you can still import images or GIFs if you want. I know some Scratchers with the normal Scratch Cat profile picture, but sometimes I get confused about which one they are. So I need to read their username to know who they are. But with default profile picture options, I can easily tell them apart if they use different default profile pictures! When you create an account for Scratch, there would be a prompt that says “Which profile picture would you like to use? (You can always change it later)” or something like that. And then it would show all the different default profile picture options. I really hope the Scratch Team adds this feature, because it would add some variety to the website! Thanks for reading!

It looks like additional default profile icons has been proposed before in this topic.
Feel free to continue the discussion there so we can keep individual suggestions organized and in one topic.

I haven't found an existing topic for additional default studio thumbnails, so that can still be discussed here.

The content you are seeing here are not part of their posts; they are their signatures, a small bit of text that automatically appears underneath every one of their posts, separated by a gray line.
In other words, the only section of their post that relates to the topic is the content above their signature. (basically, what you are quoting)

EDIT: for demonstration, you'll see that my signature is situated below the “Last edited by” message.
