Employees:

Please be respectful of customers and employees.
You must fill out the “Leave” form to notify us if you need to leave for an extended period. Failure to do so might result in a strike for activity checks.
All active employees must respond to activity checks (you must include “3 Musketeers” in your employee application) within 5 days of it being called.
Activity checks can be called once a month, and before giving a strike to someone check to see if the user is on leave.

Customers:

Please allow at least 3 days for the employees to complete your order.
Your project must follow the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
If you are banned, (you must include Hershey in your order form)you are not allowed to order at this shop anymore. If you do, you will not have your order taken and it will be deleted from the Orders Directory.
Please fill out the form, found here!

Applicants:

Please allow up to 1 week for your application to be reviewed. Usually it will be done within 10 minutes (considering I am reviewing it and I am online) but this is not usually the case.
If you are not accepted, please do not spam or get (you must include Marshmallow in your application) discouraged! There should be a reason why. Just review it and go back, and when you’re ready, apply again!

Activity Checks

All active employees must respond to activity checks within 3 days of it being called.
Activity checks can be called once a month, and before giving a strike to someone check to see if the user is on leave.

Strikes, Citations, and Firings

A citation is marked by this: ^
A strike is marked by this: *

A citation can occur when an employee:

• Fails to comply with the rules but doesn't have a strike for that
  
• Spams the forums
  
• Does not complete an order within 3 days after the due date (for example, if the employee has an overdue order that was due on April 25, they will not receive a citation until April 28 if they did not do the order by then.)
  

A strike can occur when an employee:

• Fails to comply with the rules after receiving a strike for this reason
  
• Receives 3 citations
  
• Does not respond to an activity check and is not on leave.
  

A firing occurs when an employee:

• Fails to respond to 3 activity checks or receives 9 citations (in other words, receives 3 strikes)
  
• Takes more than 7 leaves in a month
  
• Spams our shop and takes up a whole page/2 pages.
  
• Does not comply with the Community Guidelines or Terms of Use.
  

A demotion can only be made by the Owner or Co-Owner. Nobody can demote the Owner, however the owner can demote the Co-Owner.

A demotion can be given:

• If the employee misses 2 activity checks
  
• If the employee requests to be demoted
  
• If the employee does not perform adequately in their position.
  

If a worker is fired, the manager presiding over their section should message them on their profile as follows:
Hello! This is (username), the (position) from/of (from for Managers (for example, Art Manager from..), of for Owner or Co-Owner (the Owner of)) The Nougat Shoppe. Unfortunately, you have been fired from this shop due to (reason; inactivity (check to see if they are on leave), excessive spam, 3 strikes, etc). You are welcome to re-apply in 2 weeks. Thank you for your services, and we hope that you will join us again soon! Yours truly/Sincerely, (username)

Elections

When a demotion from a BoD member occurs, this is what will happen:

If the owner resigns or is demoted, the Co-Owner will take up the position. There will be an election for the Co-Owner unless the previous owner would like that position. They should request it before an election is held. If the previous owner requests during an election they shouldn't be given the position.

If the Co-Owner resigns or is demoted, there will be an election to decide the Co-Owner. Only employees who have been a part of the shop for a week or more and has taken up at least 5 orders successfully (within due date) can run for this election, however all employees can vote.

If a manager resigns or is demoted, there will be an election. Everyone can vote in this election, however only the employees in the resigned or demoted manager's section may run unless there is no one in that section or there is only one person.

Everyone participating in an election must write a short speech explaining who they are, how long they've been part of the shop, and why they should be chosen. They may drop out at any time, however this decision cannot be taken back and they will not be allowed back into the election. Applications for elections will be allowed for 1 week. After that no more applications should be accepted. After 1 week, elections will be run. After this, candidates will have 3 days to submit a speech. During this time, employees will vote for a candidate they feel is the most capable. Voting should occur in Straw Poll or forums.Current managers and owners will be allowed to vote for 2 people, if they wish. A candidate will not be allowed to vote for themselves, however they will be allowed to vote for others. After 1 week, votes will close. The candidate with the most votes will win the election.

Hiring Notice!

NOTE: Applicants applying for positions with less than 2 employees do not need a code word in their application. Applicants applying for positions with more than 2 employees will need to use the code words.

The code word will change semi-frequently, and to avoid having to check the rules all over again, you will be notified when the code word changes. The code words will be VERY random. Also, I will comment a list of previous code words via the staff room. If an applicant does not include a current code word or includes a previous code word, do not accept them. Any employee can deny someone acceptance if they do not use the code word. If an applicant doesn't use a code word the first time and then uses a previous code word the second, they will be unable to apply until the next day.

Employee Roles

Owner: can fire and hire people, hold board meetings, fire BODs, give strikes and citations and ban people, close the shop and accept partnerships.

Co-owner: basically the same as the owner, except for banning people and closing the shop.

Head of Board of Directors: Can fire and hire people, attend board meetings, and give strikes and citations, hire and fire BODs, and accept partnerships.

BODs: Comprised of all managers.

Manager of Art: can hire people applying for the Art section and attend BOD meetings. Can also add and remove orders relating to art with the permission of the Head of Board of Directors, Co-owner, or Owner.

Manager of Coding: can hire people applying for the Coding section and attend BOD meetings. Can also add and remove orders relating to coding with the permission of the Head of Board of Directors, Co-owner, or Owner.

Manager of Music: can hire people applying for the Music section and attend BOD meetings. Can also add and remove orders relating to music with the permission of the Head of Board of Directors, Co-owner, or Owner.

Manager of Security: can attend BOD meetings and give citations and strikes.

Manager of Voice Acting: can hire people applying for Voice Acting and attend BOD meetings. Can also add and remove orders relating to voice acting with the permission of the Head of Board of Directors, Co-Owner, or Owner.

Music Section: Takes orders relating to music.
Coding Section: Takes orders relating to coding.
Art Section: Takes orders relating to art.
Voice Acting Section: Takes orders relating to Voice Acting.

Review from Cat's Shop Review Shop
Hello! I am @cubbywindowsdpc, the second member of Cat's Shop Review Shop. You placed an order for a formatting review there a while back, so I will conduct it now. First, let's look at the main post. When a customer clicks into a shop, the main post is the first one they will see, so it needs to look convincing and pro. I love how you've used quotes to partition up the content, and coloured text to symbolise different kinds of notices. The navigation pane is also pretty good, and your first paragraph is good too! A few improvements I would suggest would be to put the Bump Topic code out of the first paragraph and between the navigation pane and that paragraph, because code tags make their own box, and I think it looks the most professional to have no boxes inside other boxes. I would also suggest using the bold tag on all of the coloured text notices, to make the colours brighter and more appealing to customers.

As I scroll around the other posts, I can see that you've put time and effort into making them stand out, but the same minor issues occur with them, with the inconsistent bolding of coloured text and the boxes inside other boxes. Also, I would recommend that, for the rules and staff lists, you remove the centre tag to make the paragraphs flow better.

Overall, you're pretty skilled with BBCode and this shop should be on its way to perfection in no time!
