I was wanting to change my profile pic to what my current profile pic looks like in Chrome high-contrast mode; however, I'm on mobile right now and can't get to my computer for a while. As far as I know, the only way to change one's profile pic is to hover over it with a mouse and click “change.” On mobile, however, you can't hover over things, which means you can't change your profile pic when on mobile. Please add a way to change your profile pic that works on both PC and mobile!

I'm on mobile (a Kindle, to be precise) and I can. Try clicking in the top-left corner of your profile pic.

I tapping and holding there, but all it did was pull up options like downloading the pic or following the link.

The only way I can see this happening is either redesign the site for mobile or make something uglier/more inconvenient for PC users.

Oh, okay. That did pull up the “change” option. It's very easy to tap the wrong spot, though, and end up following the link that's embedded in the pic back to the profile page.

Click the top-left corner. See I see it works. It does. You don’t have to hover. Just click.

I'm having a lit of trouble changing mine. I'm on a phone. I want a certain pic. But my phone won't let me!

In 2019 or so, I managed to change my PFP on mobile by dragging a project or studio image onto my profile picture. The first time, I actually did it on accident, but I used it to change it to the image I currently have. Support, because it would be more convenient. I'm not sure if the drag feature is still there, though.

Hmm… I can change my profile picture from my mobile. I don't get it at all.

Hmm… I can change my profile picture from my mobile. I don't get it at all.

Here's a tip: (I'm on mobile and can change it) screenshot the image (or, if it's downloadable, download it) then use a pixel dimension resizer website to change it's size to the 500 X 500 pixels (or less) that Scracth requires. I do have an example for one, but will only share it if someone wants me to (I don't want people to think I'm posting malicious links.). Otherwise, just look up “image pixel dimension resizer”. I have used this system before, and it does work. To change the image, you have to click the top left corner of your profile picture to hit the “change” button. I hope this helps you! -zomboss1_1

You already can. Just click on the top corner of your PFP on your profile and it opens your gallery for you to pick an image

not rlly related, but since scratch has to redesign the profiles at some point, it would make sense for them to add a “change pfp button uwu” to the menu right by your pfp.
but anyway this doesnt need to be changed like its not a priority bc in my experience you can just hold down on ur pfp and eventually the “change pfp” thing shows up but also it will show up if you press the corner where it shows up before its shown up (if i explained that right)

The idea is not bad, but I don't think it will go into practice, because it is theoretically possible, so why the other way to do the same? Although such a button would make it easier, especially since I use Scratch from mobile quite often.
