-VMAX Rillaboom, Cinderace, Inteleon, and Dragapult arrive in the Pokemon TCG
-Dynamax versions of Ditto, Pichu, Cleffa, Togepi, Tyrogue, Wynaut, Budew, Bonsly, Mime Jr., Munchlax, Riolu, Mantyke, and Toxel arrive in Max Raid Battles
-Battle now in the 2020 International Challenge April Online Competition
-Clemont and Heliolisk arrive in Pokemon Masters for a new solo event

Pocket Monster Monday - Week #2 (April 20th - April 26th)
A Weekly Post, brought to you by yours truly, with the goal of keeping this thread active and lively.

Pokemon Events/News:
-“Pokemon Professors” can stay connected with each other via events that include tournaments for both Pokémon TCG and video games.
-The Pokemon Rumble Rush Service is ending! (R.I.P.)
-Battle in raids at Home, gain bonus research tasks, and power up your Pokemon faster in the new features coming to Pokemon GO.
-Have quick, fun Pokemon TCG matches with Sword & Shield—Rebel Clash Build & Battle Boxes.
-In Pokemon Masters, Pokemon Eggs make their first appearance on Pasio! You'll be able to select an Egg of your own that will hatch into Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle, and then that Pokemon will become your partner Pokemon.
-In Pokemon Masters, the next legendary event will feature not only the mighty Ho-Oh but also new features that will enhance the way you earn rewards. The new Prize Box feature lets you collect prize coins from the event that allow you to get items and advance through the event.
-In Pokemon Masters, in late April, sync orbs will be easier to obtain thanks to a couple adjustments to the game. You will be able to get more co-op sync orbs from events, and there also will be opportunities to get sync orbs outside of battle. With these changes, sync orbs for specific sync pairs will become only obtainable in fixed quantities as rewards.

Fun Fact of the Week:

In 2011, an isolated Pacific island called Niue released spendable currency featuring Pokemon.
These coins, worth one Niue dollar, featured Charmander, Meowth, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and of course, Pikachu.

Pocket Monster Monday - Week #3 (April 27th - May 3rd)
A Weekly Post, brought to you by yours truly, with the goal of keeping this thread active and lively.

Pokemon Events/News:
-Episode 4 of Twilight Wings has been out!
-Check out the latest Pokemon figure, a Sylveon! It's made by Funko and is available to purchase at the Pokemon Center.
-During this month's community event for Pokemon GO, catch a lot of Abras and possibly get an Alakazam that will know counter!
-The current Pokemon anime, Pokemon Journeys, will be coming to Netflix June 12th, 2020! (I'm mega excited! )
-Many new cards such as a VMAX Toxtricity have arrived in the Pokemon Sword and Shield: Rebel Clash set in the Pokemon TCG

Fun Fact of the Week:

Pikachu and Meowth are exact opposites in almost every way. Pikachu looks like a mouse while Meowth looks like a cat. They’re both mortal enemies in the Pokemon cartoon. Also, Pikachu is #25 in the Pokedex while Meowth is #52.

Pocket Monster Monday - Week #4 (May 4th - May 10th)

Pokemon Events/News:
-New Pokemon can be found in Max Raid battles, including Tyranitar, Togekiss, Rotom, Dragapult, and more
-Silver and Ho-oh along with Wallace and Milotic have been added to Pokemon Masters
-Earn in-game rewards by competing with other Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield players from around the world, in the new May season of ranked battles

Fun Fact of the Week:

Along with Pikachu and Jigglypuff, Meowth was originally going to be in Smash, based on his popularity in the cartoon. In the end he didn't make the cut, but eventually he appeared as one of the many Pokemon that attack from a thrown Poke Ball.

Pocket Monster Monday - Week #6 (May 18th - May 24th)
A Weekly Post, brought to you by yours truly, with the goal of keeping this thread active and lively.

Pokemon Events/News:
-Today is the last day to get G-MAX Pikachu in Raid battles! Later, G-MAX Eevee and Meowth will show up in Raid battles. (Gosh darn it Game Freak! Now Let's GO players and people who got the game early are no longer special. )
-Shiny Virizion arrives in GO raid battles.
-Pokemon GO's community day for May will feature A LOT of Seedot.
-Wally and Gallade come to Pokemon Masters, along with a fighting type training event.
-Many new cards have come to the TCG's Rebels Clash set.

Fun Fact of the Week:

When Pokemon was at the height of its popularity in the US, Kelloggs teamed up with Pokemon to created Limited Edition Eggo Waffles and Pop-Tarts featuring some Gen I favorites like the starters and Pikachu.

The RNG chose Golduck, so here's some trivia!

-Golduck is the fastest Pokemon at swimming.
-Golduck was actually named correctly, because in the Pokemon universe there are actually many connections between gold and psychic powers, for example the psychic badge in Kanto is a gold coin.
-Golduck isn't a psychic type. o_0
