I have an old version of Scratch Desktop that I installed months ago (I think the first version.) I'm not interested in Scratch anymore, how can I get rid of it?

How can I uninstall Scratch Desktop?

No - neither of those are correct. Deleting the shortcut from the the desktop does not uninstall it.

What you want to do is press Windows+R on your keyboard so that the Run dialogue box comes up. In here, type appwiz.cpl . This will lead you to a list of programs installed on your system. Here, look through the list until you find Scratch. Then, right click it and hit “uninstall”. You will probably have to put in an admin password from your computer. It may then just uninstall it on its own, or you might have to follow some instructions; I'm not sure. The instructions should be pretty self-explanatory. Once a confirmatory message has appeared (something like “Scratch has been successfully uninstalled from your system”) then you have successfully removed it.

Hope that helped
