Everyone's talking about Gary's 7 gym badges but I'm more concerned about the fact that he has a freaking Japanese Symbol for Beginner badge

(please snip these images, thanks)
Did he take a driver's test and attempt to pass it off as a gym badge?
…Is he even old enough to take a driver's test?

Over the years, I've outgrown this website, so this is a mostly inactive account. I might come back from time to time to mess around, but don't count on it. Bye.

I'm pretty sure it was meant to be the heart looking badge, and the anime got the colors wrong.

So after some careful analysis of the situation that dual_creator is in with regards to Pokemon on the Switch, I have come up with 3 possible methods of liberating the Switch so that dual can play Shield as they deserve to.
If I get any extra information or am missing some information, you are free to help inform me and I can adjust these scenarios accordingly.

Scenario 1: The DLC Switcharound

The goal of this technique is to convince the brother that the Sword DLC pack was bought when in reality it was the Shield DLC. The website mentions that you can't mix and match the base game and DLC.

This has a double effect - you will have access to exclusive content which should make him sad and in order to download content from the eShop, you can't have any game open in the background, meaning that he would have to close out of Shield.
A con to this is that I mainly see this as a temporary solution as they may just end up getting the expansion pack themselves or just not care and continue playing the base game, though I think it's the first method to test.

Scenario 2: The Confrontation

Since it appears that your brother is bending the laws that have been laid out for i) personal profit and ii) at the disadvantage of other members, it may be best to perform “The Confrontation”
Walk up to them when they're playing Sword and say “bruh”. (pic related)

It may take a few times to trigger based on the RNG but you should be able to activate the trigger that starts real life's generic battle sequence. You'll know if you see this coming out of your retinas:

Personally, I haven't tried myself but you should get some exp from this when you beat the battle.
My main issue with this method is that it appears to be inciting fighting between siblings which is cliche so I'd advise against doing that.

Scenario 3: Using Arbitrary Code Execution to put your brother in a Pokeball

In Pokemon Blue and Red (I use Blue in this example), it's possible to use the glitched 8F item to execute any code that you want. You can obtain the 8F item by using the Item Underflow glitch. The purpose of doing this is to write code into the Gameboy's RAM that allows you to have Pokemon communicate directly to other Bluetooth devices through connecting your Gameboy to your computer due to the Gameboy's lack of bluetooth (we are working on making a modified cartridge of Blue with bluetooth support though!) Here's a diagram of the setup:

(I'm going to assume that your brother has bluetooth turned on)

Once you perform the glitch which I will provide in the video description, the Pokemon menu should display all the bluetooth devices around you rather than your pokemon on your team. Connect your Gameboy up to your brother and a list of values should come up which you can then modify. Set “in_a_pokeball” to true.

Due to a programming bug in the universe, all animate objects are assigned the flag “in_a_pokeball” which can be set using a special tool such as the one that we programmed in Pokemon Blue. However, inanimate objects such as your guys Switch don't, so it won't go into the Pokeball with your brother, meaning you're free to use the Switch. Due to the nature of Pokeballs, you can leave him in there for as long as you want without any potential health risks.
Personally, I see this as the safest and most permanent method, although it is the most technical.

No, I always save my sister's stuff when borrowing her ds to play UM, just glad she lets me, and beating Milo(which was, quite literally, a click of a button) was the only time I've done anything in her games besides Black(and that was years ago). And dear god I played Ultimate basically the entire summer(we only had ultimate and let's go in summer of 2019, neither of which my sis is interested in) and I'm just shy of a hundred hours. I don't even HAVE 500 hours in total, nor if we add the entire system's hourage!

You have to go to your profile on the top of the home screen.

Also, it only shows how long you've played a game after you've owned it for more than 1 or 2 weeks, for some reason.

My longest play time on any game is around 350 for Splatoon 2, and I've had that since release.

My play time for Shield is *checks* 69 hours.. no lie.

EDIT: Red, Squirrelstar and TheWildCake, notify me when you're ready to battle, I'm suspecting the right time to be about nine hours away considering how different our time zones are lol
