yes, up close, to show that it is pixelated and has none of that “anti-aliasing” whateverThat's up close.thats because the image was shrunk when it counldnt fit in the forum postMost of the previous art was pixel art. Yours didn't look very pixelated.ah yes, the correct thing to do when faced with something disproving past prejudices is to immediately deny itNo. I refuse to believe that was MS Paint. messed around for a while with the line tool and got this:
if you open it in a new tab and look closer you can see the pixelated edges:

Thanks.this dragon here to make some parts of the dragon look shiny (yes, that is done in MS Paint as well). That's awesome. But I just wanted to point out that making something in MS Paint look less pixelated is simple (though time consuming) to do - you just need to have a workable color palette. I did a little bit of it in
I want to go create something in MS paint now.

There seems to be a lot of blurring and partial transparency in there. Was that made in a newer version of MS Paint?

The best MS Paint version will always be the one pre-7.
I have a Vista laptop so fortunately I can still relive the simple pixelly goodness.

I remember spending hours of boredom manually creating gradients in Paint line by line. (That was before I had even heard of GIMP). I still use Paint for simple things like pixel art when I don't want to wait for GIMP or Photoshop to load on Windows.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yewMEGpiYb8That's impressive. You can make gradients.
Pixel-ish art looks nice, as a style. :oi dunno man theres still a sorta nice goofy look and feel that you cant achieve in other programs Gimp > MS Paint
PS > MS Paint
MS Paint is an outdated program perfect if you want to create or edit images quick and easily without the fuss of buying or installing a better in every way paid or free program such as Paint.NET, Paintshop, Photoshop or the almighty GIMP.
also ive seen a lot of really amazing pictures done in just ms paint

Who said I said that kind of thing can't be accomplished in MS Paint. I was making a pure joke–the proof that that picture was made in paint is right in the video.Next level MS Paint skills.….I refuse to believe….ah yes, the correct thing to do when faced with something disproving past prejudices is to immediately deny it
Never underestimate the power of that program.

I used it back in scratch 1.4 to create sprites because I hated the paint editor in Scratch
