Scratch's search system and it's way of handling new, young, or underrated scratches

Hello there! I'd like to talk about the way the scratch team has recently been handling things. I was scrolling through Discussion Scratch when i noticed this interesting topic that was made by a scratcher called “BlazelsGaming”, who was talking about how underrated scratchers were being treated on here. Now, before I go any further with the topic, I will say this; Scratch has a really amazing community on here. I don't want anyone to think I don't like Scratch, because I do love it. But the subject I'm talking about is a pet peeve of mine with Scratch. Scratch has a weird way of using the search engine on here. There is no “recent” section on here. Which usually search engine's have on other platforms. Though this does make it hard to view recent work by scratchers, it also makes it really hard to find any work that isn't “trending” or “underrated”. I know there are ways for those scratchers to talk to people on here and get followers that way, but it's really hard for them to actually socialize with others consider how popular a scratcher they may be talking to is, and how many friends they already have on here. Also I know there's a way to get work featured on here by asking, or something (I don't really know the process), but I mean, what if they already don't already have any friends or followers? I'm just saying, there are some ways that I personally feel the scratch team can improve this program, but these of course are just pet peeves of mine, and nothing more. I'll be fine if they don't get fixed, but it would be nice if someone on the scratch team could so very possibly look at that. So, that's all the stuff I have to say.

Maybe add the exact list of what you want added and also a TL;DR?

*“Popular”
I didn't mean to say “Underrated”
