paint.NET
I've recently downloaded paint.NET, and I've been playing around with it for a couple of days, and I can't figure out how to change the colour of the pen, anyone know how to?
And is this in the right section?

I'll look… Never used it, but it might be in “Adjustments”.

Why not? I tried it once. I didn't like it.
(Also, it was on my Vista laptop, which is probably haunted, so I don't use it anymore. It was always a secondary computer. I have a MacBook Air now.)
I'm ok with it, but not like an artist or anything. I mostly use it for saving images and stuff.

Paint.NET is awesome. Problem is, I have to use CorelDraw because Paint.NET hates Windows 8.

Paint.NET is very simple and great. Has it's good points and it's bad points. One of the bad things on it is that when you open it, it automatically makes a totally white layer (not a blank layer, a white layer) named background, which, if not deleted, will make the picture's (if you make Game Art with it for example) background totally white, which makes it look like it isn't in .PNG format and is in .JPEG format instead. The quality is still on the picture, but the background… destroyed!
I hate that feature…

Best free image editor ever.
Either I am a fast learner or it's quite easy to learn the program.
You can get rid of the background before you create your image by using the eraser tool or selecting the entire white background and deleting it.

Paint.NET is the only paint program I will ever use until the end of time because of how easy it is to use, yet a little bit on the difficult side to master.

(yes I'm necroposting) Paint.NET is a pretty simple but useful program, I like it. I know a kid who likes to use it to spend copious amounts of time in it improving image quality and clarity off of VHS recordings and stuff (yeah it's a bit weird).
