Exponents (Powers) and Roots.
I know Scractch has a lot of mathematical blocks, particularly in the ‘operators’ section, but it only has square roots.
My suggestion is that we have a root block and an exponent block.
Here is what I suggest they look like:
Root block:
Exponent block:
(sorry I don't know how to make the blocks green)
How they work:
Root block - You put the root you want to use in the first section (in this case 2) and the number you want to calculate the root of in the second section (in this case 4). What you are working out here is the square root (because of the two) of 4, which is 2.
Exponent block -You put the number you want to times by itself in the first section (in this case 5) and the amount of times you want to multiply it by, or the power in the second section (in this case 3). What you are working out here is 5 to the power of 3, or 5*5*5 which is 125.

Exponents (Powers) and Roots.
For exponents, duplicate.Roots aren't duplicate; I support, we need more than sqrt.
Maybe have the root block look like this?

Exponents (Powers) and Roots.
It can be made, because the nth root of x is just x^(1/n), but beginners might not know how to do this, especially because they will also need to know how to do exponents. For exponents, duplicate.Roots aren't duplicate; I support, we need more than sqrt.

Hey, you're both right! Thanks! They Roots aren't duplicate; I support, we need more than sqrt.are.
