Scratch Points, a reward system for being kind

What would Scratch Points be?
Scratch points would be some kind of point system on scratch. At the beginning of its implementation, each user would start with 100 Scratch Points. If a user said something constructive like “Good Job!” or “Great Project!”, the commenter would receive 5 scratch points. This bonus would only occur once every 5 minutes to prevent spamming.
What is the point of scratch points?
The point of Scratch Points would be the use of the block
ask for () Scratch points and wait :: sensing 
This block would allow the user to spend some of their Scratch points on some in-game item. Those scratch points would then go to the creator of the game. This would allow a constant flow of Scratch Points. Of course, the ST would be able to give some scratch points to users that they think are doing an especially good job. This means that there are only 3 ways to get Scratch points: An in-game purchase, a reward from the ST, or being nice on a user's project.
Note: Scratch Points could be called something else, like SPs or Kindness Points. I really don't care what they're called, just that they are implemented.

I see lots of problems with this. Sure, it can cause more nice comments in Scratch, but most of the comments would be fake. Also, how will the program detect what's a nice comment is and what's not? There's also bound to be scammers who trick you into spending these points. Not only that, but there's also bound to be people who try to exploit this system by making alt accounts, making them go to a project on their main account, and giving the 100 already given points away to their main account. Or, someone could exploit it by making a fake nice comment every 5 minutes. It could also lead to competition with numbers.

Also see part 1.4 and 8.7 in the rejected suggestions list. Currency is a rejected suggestion, and this is sort've like a currency.

Yeah, that's a digital currency, which is rejected. We hope that the ability to participate in the Scratch community is enough motivation for users to be kind to each other.

Essentially, digital currency would not really benefit the educational value of Scratch; after all, there is not really anything that you can buy. While there could be features that are only unlockable via digital currency, this does not really contribute to Scratch's purpose of being a programming language available for everyone. In addition, it is not clear as to how users could obtain this digital currency. However, you can make digital currency in your own projects, if you like.
