I has a shovel. I can use the shovel to dig out worms, to make coins, to get junk off the ground, and most importantly, to eat food. It's all very mechanical.
In the Not So Small World, I can make coins by picking up golden coins and putting them in my “cart” to automatically spawn a balloon. And on a small planet, I can just cook some brownies, or wait for some bugs to break them into glitter. It's all very pleasant.

And it really was Apocalypse, the guy who had been the greatest living mutant in comics, and was later incarcerated in the medium of comic books. He was smiling, right there.
