Hi! I'm planning to make a game that resembles Soul Knight, a mobile game where you go to a dungeon, shoot enemies, get weapons, and defeat bosses.

I've made about half the project, but my friends tell me that it feels like a rip off from Soul Knight itself, in a way that it's way too similar. So, I need some ideas to make it different and more exciting. If you have any, feel free to post it! Thanks!

First off, I think making a Scratch version of the game would be cool, not a rip off. Even Griffpatch has made copies of games in Scratch before; what makes them cool is that you were able to make it in Scratch. But if you're looking for ways to make it different, you could alternatively use different-looking art, add more achievements, or change up the bosses.

Ah, I see, thanks! I'm actually thinking that instead of altering it, I could just try to make it Soul Knight like you said. I think that would be better because right now my project is lying on this grey area between an original project and Soul Knight, and that could be ambiguous to some people.
