Day 2 - Game Plans!
Welcome back to BBSB! Hope you had fun yesterday! Today, you're going to use all that you learned yesterday to make a rough plan of your shop. We are going to provide a graphic organizer which you can recreate on paper or online, and plan your shop. You can also use the elements of the organizer to plan in a way that works for you. We just want to see where each of you think you are headed!


Here is the graphic organizer that I mentioned:


Use this how you like. We just want to see what you're working on!
Please turn in your plan in some way - you could take a picture and upload it to Cubeupload or a project, or make it virtually in Scratch or some other tool. If you do take a picture, please make sure to not have yourself or your house in the picture for privacy's sake (although a little bit of a table is fine! )


As with every task, if you have any questions, please reach out to a mentor - we're here to help! And, please know that this camp is not about deadlines, but is about learning. If you can't get the plan done today, just submit it when you can! Have a great day!



Day 4 - Catch Up Day!
Whew, we've done so much good work so far! You can take today to catch up on anything that you haven't been able to get to, talk with other campers in the hangout studio, and take a breather! This can also be used as time to order or create a banner for your shop, if that hasn't been done already.


What might need catching up on?
- the scavenger hunt: do as much as you can!
- your game plan: we want to see those plans before too long!
- any lessons you wanted to do, but couldn't get to: they're still there!
- ordering/making a banner: what you want should be in your plan!


As I said above, this day could also be used just to take a breather and talk to others in the hangout studio - what you do is up to you! You've worked so hard already, so you completely deserve a break!



Day 6 - Practice Orders
Back to another day at BBSB! Hope you've been enjoying it so far. Before you open your shop to the public, we could all use a little practice, right? Today, we're each going to be ordering from one other shop in camp, and receiving one order from another camper. This is going to be a bit confusing, so bear with me:

First, you're going to head on over to the mentoring hub. Next, you should put an order form from your shop (for any product - you get to choose) in the description of the studio. There is going to be a heading for “day 6”, and under that, there will be each camper's name. Paste your order form under your name. Then, you're going to pick one did you get that? ONE! other shop to order from. Copy the order form, paste it in the comments section, and fill it in. Once you've posted the comment, go back to the description and delete that shop's order form, replacing it with: “ordered from by (your name)”. When you get an order in the comments (you should be checking periodically!), reply with “taken!” and complete the order. Once you've completed the order, reply again, and link to the finished product.


OK, I get it. That was confusing! Read over the plan again, and make sure you understand it. If you don't, please, please, please ask one of the mentors any questions you have. We get that it's confusing!
