Yeah. Not everything has a workaroundpoint towards [ v] // this is workaroundable if you make a custom point towards x: y: block
ask [] and wait //make the sprite say something and have an answer variable
(answer) //that variable
(timer) //sort of workaroundable by using variables
reset timer //set the timer variable you're using to 0
(current [ v])
(pick random () to ()) // use lists
(variable) //use a list
( list :: list) // complicated workaround, but use the item block
define
clear //set pen size to 999 or draw white stuff all over the screen

NOPE This is a SUGGESTIONS forum. Everything has some workaround. This is for SUGGESTING features you think would make scratch a little easier. And I know it's impossible to notice, I don't have the sarcazm skillz, kay?
There are no workarounds for if<>, if<>else, and a lot more.
if <> then=
...
if <> then
...
else
end

Changing Variable Colors
Making custom variable displays is more creative and infinitely more customizable than recolouring variable displays, and the variable displays are orange to signify that they're variables and it's not displaying something else like a timer or position.

Unless a post doesn't contribute to the discussion, necroposting doesn't exist in this forum.

Interesting idea! It might be nice because it might expand on the creativity part on Scratch. Using red variables for HP, green for the HP of the bad guy, etc, etc…

Support! I think that if your project had a color theme, you could easily make the reporter match up with your project, so if your project had a blue theme, the variables could be blue as well. It also open the door for other interesting things, like animations with variables.

If you want to change the colour or font of variable text, you can use a text engine or a score engine.
Here is my score engine!

If you want to, you could have sprites that have a consume for each digit 0-9.

Changing Variable Colors
75% Support. Most projects don't even display variables, so this would mostly be a feature people who are making a project, not watching one. It might also be mildly confusing when there are variables that look exactly like some pre-colored reporters ( direction, loudness, x position, etc) This would be really useful for projects that do display variables, hence the 75%
